This house was fantastic. The property itself was so peaceful. There's nothing better than winter on a lake in Minnesota (except maybe summer on a lake in Minnesota). The kitchen was full stocked, beds are incredibly comfortable and linen closet was loaded up with fresh towels. There were throw blankets in every room - the better to cozy up for a nap on the couch. Lots of little extras throughout and all of the bedrooms are large. Plenty of room for a pack-n-play. We had a wonderful time here and hope to come back again very soon. Special thanks to the owners/management for being such friendly, professional and gracious hosts.

We had a family wedding close to Christmas. Our family lives all over the country so being able to find a place big enough for all of us at Christmas was very important. This home has 4 LARGE bedrooms with views of Birch Lake. We saw pheasant, wild turkey and deer all from the comfort of our "home". We watched ice fisherman putting their houses on the lake. We took walks down the winding driveway canopied by the large trees.

We enjoyed cooking all our meals in the large, well-stocked kitchen. The place was very clean. We had cable TV, which was great for watching football.
We had a wonderful family Christmas which was made completely possible by us all being in the same home. Thank you to the owners of this wonderful property for caring so much about your guest's experience. They even had a Christmas tree waiting for us! Such a memorable holiday.

I think we would love to revisit this home during the summer to be able to take advantage of the dock and lake. So nice.

We are originally from the Elk River area but my family has spread out across the country over the years. My oldest with her husband and a 10 month old, my middle with husband, and my youngest along with my wife and I (eight of us in all) came to Minnesota and stayed here for the Christmas Holiday. It was wonderful to be together in Minnesota and to have this whole roomy house to ourselves. While a place on the lake is a natural choice for a summer vacation, this time in the winter wonderland was downright enchanting as we watched the deer go through the back yard and kept an eye on the turkeys too! I won't hesitate to do this again.

Beautiful property! Because of the early spring we have been fortunate to enjoy two beautiful seasons here and all the wonderful nature that comes with it! Deer, eagles, loons, fox, owls...you name it, we've seen it!
This is a great family vacation home! We are house hunting in the middle of a relocation to the Twin Cities and we couldn't have chosen a better place. It is so close to the cities, yet feels like you are way up North!

The bedrooms and beds are spacious and comfy, full laundry room, large kitchen, flat screen tv's, and even full cabinets of books and board games for rainy days.

Now that spring is here we are grilling out on the deck, making s'mores on the huge firepit, and our 3 boys are having a blast fishing! (they've caught many already)

We are already thinking of coming back for a week in late summer after getting all settled in our new home! *The lake is all sandy bottom and the boys are dying to swim. :)

We just can't say enough. The owners are wonderful people and we have been recommending their property to all our friends and family!
