Ask about our 2012 fall special!

Pemaquid Area: Historic Pemaquid Point is in the town of New Harbor, also known as Bristol, Maine. It is a small fishing village and artist community. Visit Fort William Henry, Pemaquid Beach, the Pemaquid Point Light House, museums, art galleries, the Hardy Boat cruise to Monhegan Island, and many other sites nearby. Camden, Rockport, Rockland and Boothbay Harbor are each less than an hour's drive, although you'll probably want to just sit on your private deck or rocks and watch the tide rise and fall all day long...

Sleeping Arrangements: Upstairs:

~ Upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed plus 2 twins. The beautiful upstairs bath is off the hallway, adjacent to the bedroom.

Main Floor (ground level on driveway side; opens to deck on water side - see photos):

~ Large Master Bedroom Suite has a private bath (separate shower, tub, 2 lavs and water closet) and views to South and West 12 windows plus private door to South side of deck. Built in day bed could accommodate one extra person.

Downstairs (walk-out on ocean side - see photos):

~ Downstairs den/sleeping room has 1 double + 1 twin (bunk) - entry to this room passes through open room.

~ Downstairs open room has 1 queen, 2 twins.

1 Queen air mattress is available to place in other rooms, including upstairs den.

The 2 rooms downstairs share the large bath/laundry room with rain shower.

Private Waterfront: In Maine, no one owns the 1st 10' of the shore. That said, we get very little foot traffic crossing in front of the house (compared with nearby shore front), due to the ledges on either side of the house. Also, the right-of-ways do not cross our property. There is a path in front of the house (@50') leading to the rocks and shore front. This is a lovely place to lounge, picnic, or meditate. Water conditions vary with the tides, waves and weather. Swimming is lovely here - especially in August, but June, July, September - and last year October - were also delightful. The water is deep, and children should be supervised at ALL times. There are also many tide pools along the shore, which are fun to explore! And the gorgeous (public) white sand Pemaquid Beach is only 3 miles away...

Our regular rates are $570/night for up to 10 people, however we may offer discounted rates during the off-season for 2-4 people (excluding 6/1-9/15).

Thank you for visiting!

We loved this home. The location was wonderful the view was the best we could ask for. Tammy was always available. My grandson wants to go again next year. We would reccomend this home to anyone who wants the Maine experience.

The service I received was excellent, and the home is so beautiful - with views to melt your cares away. I especially enjoyed looking at the sunsets. The only thing I disliked was leaving...

We had such a relaxing, wonderful time, greatly enhanced by the panoramic views and wonderful host, Tammy. Pemaquid and her home are spectacularly beautiful and made for a very special 3 days. There is simply nothing like going to sleep and waking up to the sound of gently lapping waves. The main living room/ eating area is so spacious and light too. Truly Heaven!

The high perch of this unique house affords the best views of St John's Bay from both inside and out. Our family had plenty of room to spread out, with easy access to wander along the rocks and explore the tide pools. It is a short walk to the lighthouse.
