Contemporary one-bedroom apartment in the heart of lively Upper Street, Angel, N1. Completely refurbished to a high standard, professionally decorated and newly furnished. The flat has plenty of natural light as well as outside private roof terrace.

High quality furnishings, automatic central heating, fully fitted contemporary kitchen with fridge and freezer, washing machine, electric hob and oven, dishwasher. The Nespresso machine is one of the latest additions for your enjoyment.

Flat comes with 32-inch digital TV, cable TV service, DVD player, I-pod/I-phone speakers and docking station. There is fibre optic wireless broadband throughout the flat (WIFI), and a courtesy UK mobile phone for your use during your stay.

The bedroom has a double bed with top quality memory foam matress, and benefits from double glazed window. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is a large double sofa bed in the living room for additional guests, as well as an extra guest bed. The flat benefits from secure entry with intercom and buzzer, renovated entrance and stairways to building.

This flat is managed by a professional support team providing outstanding customer care, and the multi-lingual team speak English, Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Excellent, Affordable Accommodation

We stayed in the flat for 3 weeks and really enjoyed our stay. The flat was clean and well appointed as described with a complete kitchen, including dishwasher, glass top stove and oven, along with a combination clothes washer and dryer. While we were there, the owner Paulo looked after our every needs and even showed up one day with a Cappuccino maker, complete with a variety of coffee choices. The bedroom at the rear of the flat was quiet at night while the lounge was bright and pleasant during the day and evenings. Recent renovations have resulted in a modern appearance throughout. The neighbourhood is absolutely perfect for any traveller with its many shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and pubs. The night life in the evenings makes the whole area safe and fun to stroll about. Convenient tube stations at Angel or Highbury/Islington are only a 10 minute walk away. We enjoyed the food at the Pera restaurant below the flat as well as others in the area, including the quite affordable Jamie's Italian (Jamie Oliver) near Angel tube station. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to other travellers who are looking for affordable accommodation in a trendy neighbourhood (Islington) of London.

We enjoyed staying in the Apartment, being Australians and used to the wide open spaces, we asdjusted to the compact living when in London, the location is fantastic in "The Angel" with transport outside your door all the Theatres and Restaurants you could want plus great shopping. Paulo was very helpful and accomodating. Apartament is in great location, Islington has all what you need, during the day and nigth too. The flat was comfortable and pretty, very close to bus-stop and 5 minute to Angel underground station. I recommend Paulo's flat if you are looking for a small stay in a nice London area.

The Upper Street flat was exactly like the photos

The Upper Street flat was exactly like the photos. The location was perfect! Loved the street. Had such a good time, we ended up going out in Angel for New Years Eve. Paulo and his staff were very easy to work with. I highly recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in a cool, hipster spot in London.

Very professional staff

I booked Paulo's place for my parents when they visited me in London and they enjoyed it very much. Paulo and his staff were very patient and professional. The apartmet located only minutes away from the Angel tube station and the neighbourhood itself is worth exploring too. The bedroom is situated at the rear side of the apartment to avoid noise from the street which is very considerate.

Great location in the heart of Islington

We stayed here for 4 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Great location in the heart of Islington. Close to trains and buses and walking distance to the city. Good choice of excellent eating places on your doorstep. Definitely a two person apartment though. Any more and it would be quite crowded. Paulo provided top service and it all worked very well for us. We both agreed we would stay here again.

Close to transport and restaurants

Ideally located and close to transport and stacks of restaurants. The apartment was a little smaller that I expected but we made the best of it. Carmel was great as well looking after things for us, so the overall experience was genuinely good. We are on our way to Barcelona and then to Paris staying in airbnb apartments, so looking forward to that as well. Cheers, Chris

Lightning speed maintenance repair

Great host

Paulo was patient with family who were not well travelled and extremely high maintenance (and couldn't figure out london appliances). He was a great host. If you have friends in the lounge on the sofa it can be loud because of the street, but just bring ear plugs.
