This stylish apartment has been completely renovated presented with a modern, fully fitted open plan kitchen cum reception room. A modern and clam contemporary bedroom with a queen-sized bedrooms and a newly fitted bathroom.

Our visit to London in 2013

What a nice stay in London! We (2 adults) had a really fine week in London at Alvin's Apartment. Everything was just like on the pitures shown. The bathroom has a window and everything is very clean and in very good condition and the flat was really big enough for the both of us.

Just a few steps from Mile End road with bus 25 running 24h just through to Oxford Circus or route 205 also 24h to Paddington, it is a very good starting point for exploring London.

Alvin is such a polite and helpful host - just from our first e-mail contact on. We would recommend this apartment to everyone who wants to visit London and we will surely try to come back to this place.

Alvin's East End apartment was perfect for our recent trip to London, January 27 - February 3. Alvin and his nephew were extremely gracious and helpful. Our flight was delayed, and thus we did not arrive at the flat until 11 p.m. They had waited up for us and gave us clear instructions. When we had questions during the week, Alvin responded promptly and wisely suggested we take a cab to Heathrow on the morning of our departure and arranged for the cab.

The apartment is ample for a couple; if one arises earlier than the other, the kitchen/living room provides a quiet space for having morning coffee and reading. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything one could need and was imnmaculate. The flat is a pleasant 5-7 minute stroll to the Underground (either of two stations) in a neighborhood that is a fascinating and lively mixture of cultures. We walked back from the Underground at all hours and always felt entirely secure and also took the buses that run up and down Mile End Road.

From the apartment, you can get you to the center in 25 minutes - there is easy access to Covent Gardens, the museums and the Thames. London is a great walking city, and we walked from the apartment to St.Paul's, Wapping, and Borough Market. I jogged every morning in the parks and local streets. The flat is set back a 1/2 block from the main street on a quiet side steet. There is a small, but adequately stocked market on the corner and a larger supermarket 5 minutes away.

We would recommend it heartily to other London visitors.

Perfect for 3 people

Alvin's holiday apartment is very cosy. It's small, but so comfortable!
We were 3 people and we enjoyed it for a week without any problem. Kitchen and bathroom are quite new and full equiped with everything you may need. The whole apartment give a sense of freshness and it is very cleaned indeed.
In a blink of an eye you reach bus 25 stop, that will bring you to London and back 24h a day, in 20 minutes, and you can enjoyed the amazing sight of st. paul's cathedral or the bank of england because they are on the way. Tube is also very close.
Alvin is friendly and discreet, he will give you a lot of good advice about visiting London.
I strongly raccomend Alvin's apartment!

My holiday in London

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana presso l'appartamento di Alvin (7-14/04/12)
in 4 persone adulte e ci siamo trovate abbastanza bene.
Il proprietario è una persona molto simpatica e disponibile e ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno.
Purtroppo l'appartamento è molto piccolo per 4 persone adulte in quanto c'è una camera da letto abbastanza piccola e un armadio a muro ,una cucina dotata di tutti i comfort con un tavolo ,4 sedie e un divano-letto (troppo piccolo per due persone adulte e inoltre un po scomodo).
Il bagno è tutto nuovo con una cabina doccia davvero molto comfortevole.
Dietro l'angolo si trova un supermercato, Tesco, con tutti i generi alimentari di cui si puo avere bisogno.
L'appartamento è nella zona 2 di Londra e il quartiere è prevalentemente abitato da persone Indiane e musulmane, infatti c'è una moltitudine di fast food multietnici.
La metropolitana più vicina (circa 700 mt-10 minuti a piedi) è la DISTRICT LINE (linea verde) e la Hammershmit (linea rosa) che permettono di arrivare in 20 minuti al centro.
Complessivamente il soggiorno è stato gradevole anche se consiglio questo appartamento ad una famiglia composta massimo da 3 persone, 2 adulti e un bambino.

Ideal gelegene kleine Wohnung nahe Stadtzentrum

Wir hatten eine schönen Kurzurlaub in London. Bereits die Korrespondenz bei Buchung der Wohnung ließ spüren, dass der Vermieter sehr nett und um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht ist. Und dies war auch der Eindruck vorort: wir wurden zur vereinbarten Zeit vom Vermieter selbst sehr freundlich begrüßt und gleich mit den wichtigsten Informationen versorgt, so dass wir recht schnell zu unserer ersten Tour ins Zentrum der Stadt starten konnten.
Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und neu möbliert, Bad und Küche sind gut ausgestattet inklusive Duschgel, Shampoo, Spülmittel, etc..
Wir waren zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder). Die Kinder (10 und 12) konnten gut gemeinsam auf dem Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer schlafen. Bei einer Gruppe bestehend aus Erwachsenen ist die Wohnung für 3 Personen zu empfehlen, so wie vom Vermieter angegeben.
Die Wohnung liegt nur eine U-Bahnstation entfernt von Liverpool Station - also ideal für Reisende, die über den Flughafen Stanstead mit dem Stanstead Express nach London anreisen. Sie ist ab Liverpool Station mit 2 verschiedenen Linien zu erreichen. Underground-Verbindungen sind optimal; Overground haben wir nicht genutzt und können deshalb dazu nichts sagen. Haltestellen sind gleich um die Ecke.
Ebenfalls um die Ecke gibt es einen Supermarkt und diverse kleinere Läden, so dass die Selbstversorgung kein Problem darstellt.
Alles in allem eine Wohnung, die für einen Kurzaufenthalt absolut zu empfehlen ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Perfecto apartamento para ir con niños

Estuvimos en este apartamento durante una semana 2 adultos y un niño , y es perfecto incluso para 2 adultos y 2 niños .
Estaba todo muy limpio y nuevo .Es tal y como se ve en las fotos .
Facilidad respecto al transporte ya que tienes 2 paradas de metro muy próximas , stepney green y whitechapel . El supermercado está a 50 metros al igual que la parada de bus que te deja en el centro y pasan cada 5 minutos .
Alvin fue una persona encantadora incluso tuvo unos grandes detalles con nosotros , fue un GRAN casero .
