Open plan split level country cottage with beams, open fireplace [for the cooler months!] and fully equipped kitchen. Terrace with bar/barbecue area and private, heated, salt treated 9 x 4 m swimming pool open from May to October, weather permitting. Overlooking several valleys and fabulous views. In a small hamlet of three houses offering complete peace but only 1 minute from the village and its shops and 3 bar/restaurants all with indoor and outdoor dining facilities. Christmas tree and decorations included for the festive season. Also available for mid -length off -season rentals.

We had a fantastic week in this lovely house and have already booked for next year. The rooms are bigger than the photos suggest and very comfortable and the heated pool is great, with beautiful views. Thank you Dawn, we can't wait to come back to your lovely house and to see more of beautiful correze.

Very good holiday and a lovely house

The owner of the house Dawn met us when we arrived and was very friendly. We had a welcome drink and chat which was a nice way to start our holiday. The house and garden area are of a high standard and the pool is a very good size. The bar area was also a very handy place to sit and have a drink. The location of the house was good and the area around the house is very picturesque and the sunsets we seen close to the house were stunning. There is plenty of places to visit locally and the chateaus were not only great places to visit but they were also very quiet which is a bit of a change to tourist destinations in England! We would definitely recommend this house and the location.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this property. The cottage was well equipped and full of character. The children particularly loved the huge attic bedroom (as did I!). The garden was very peaceful, with great views over the fields and beyond. The heated pool was fab and we used it every day. There were lots of activites in the area (high wires, chocolate factory, candle lit gardens etc.) but we always enjoyed coming back to the pool, the peace and the BBQ!

Fabulous cottage

This cottage is well presented, very comfortable and comes with everything you might need. It is in a beautiful location surrounded by uninterrupted views of the countryside, and yet is only a few minutes away from Ayen, the nearest village, which has 3 x bars/restaurants, a bakery, butchers, pharmacy, post office bank and general shop.
The garden is mature and fully enclosed, and we particularly enjoyed the private pool. We highly recommend this cottage!

Thank you for a lovely holiday. We love the cottage and found it a very relaxing place to be.
Although the weather could have been kinder, some of us were in the pool nearly every day! Thank you for taking the trouble to look up the local walks, which we very much enjoyed.
We had a lovely meal at La Boissiere and would also recommend Chez Sarlet in Terrasson. Excellent patisserie to be had in the village but even this was surpassed by the patisserie in Objat.
We found the people in the area very friendly and very understanding of our limited French!

This is now our second time at La Briasse and again we had a lovely week.
For us a vacation means swimming, reading, relaxing, eating, sunbathing and enjoying beautiful views. La Briasse has it all and even more. Your house and garden are so peaceful and cosy, we just love staying at 'home' all week!

Thanks for a lovely week in your beautiful home. The weather was mostly gorgeous and it was lovely to relax in the pool. Objat market was really good on Sunday, Hautefort chateau was lovely, the Jardins de Marqueyssac were really good but quite scary at the top - fab views!
Went out every day but it was lovely to 'come home'.

We spent a wonderful few days in this lovely cottage of yours. It's really amazing how cosy you arranged your little farm house for your visitors. We really enjoyed this area of France which neither Patrick nor I knew before coming. We had time to discover a number of charming medieval villages - so nicely labelled 'les plus beaux villages de France' - in the surrounding area and also visit some chateaux under a burning July sun. The swimming pool helped to survice the really hot first weekend without being completely burned! The local markets are definitely worth a visit - I'm sure we gained several kilos considering all the farm cheese we ate and are still taking home today!
