Snowshoe Mountain is one of Eastern America’s the most popular year-round resorts. National forest surrounds the ski resort’s mountain summit which features a 4,848 foot elevation averaging 180 inches of snowfall per year! Here is the place for all seasons and all ages and where you can do all the things you want, even if it means doing nothing at all.

Our Snowshoe home is a newly updated, furnished chalet with 4 bedrooms/3 baths, plus large cedar hot tub room. This quiet and serene private retreat is surrounded by nature. Deer and rabbits are our frequent visitors. The home centers around the family room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and a wall of windows offering a panoramic mountain view creating a cozy atmosphere. The main living space is located on the second level where you will find the completely updated kitchen with new appliances, wine cooler, great room with a wood burning stone fireplace (wood included), dinning table, two bedroom with queen beds and hall bath.

A staircase will lead you up to the spacious master with beautiful mountain views, private bath and king bed. On the ground level of our chalet is a private bedroom with queen bed, a large bathroom and cedar hot tub room with an 8 person hot tub.

After a day filled with exciting adventures it is a real treat to relax and unwind in the hot tub, watch cable or enjoy a movie or two on the wide-screen TV in surround sound, play cards, video/board games, or cook a nice meal while watching the sunset.

The ski chalet has all the comforts of home with amenities that are just minutes away. The home is located ten minutes from all the major ski lifts, tubing hill, restaurants and shopping. Five minutes from the Raven Golf Course (Snowshoe's Gary Player Course).

Summertime with temperatures highest in the low 80’s is a great time to visit the mountain. As the leaves turn golden, orange, and red in the fall, the panoramic view of the array of color stretching across the mountain range is truly breath-taking. When the snow falls, Snowshoe Mountain turns into a winter wonderland. It is a ton of fun to ski on Eastern America’s highest slopes where the center of Snowshoe is surrounded by an old world Swiss style shopping village.

Great house!!

The house was great. It had everything you could need from kitchen utensils and appliances to playing cards and firewood. With 3 queen beds and a king sized bed the house is great for groups of couples without kids needing bunk beds or twin beds. Everything was in immaculate condition when we arrived and I just could not have been more pleased with our rental. The location was remote but not too far away to be inconvenient and every night a group of deer would come and graze in the yard.

the only downsides:
- You may want to bring in firewood for the fireplace. It rained one day while we were there and most of the firewood got wet, where it was stacked outside.
- It can be a little hard to find at night so you're better off arriving during the day.
- The hot tub had a problem with not wanting to stay on at night but for some odd reason this only happened late at night. It worked fine during the days and maintenance came out to check it one day and it was working fine. It was more odd than anything else.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO STAY!!
