We recently stayed at Mickey's Sun House for a last minute trip to Disney for a competition. This is not the first time we stayed at one of the property owner's homes. We stayed at Nemo's Cove in April of 2013, so based on the condition of that home, we were very disappointed with our experience with Mickey's Sun House. I will say, the place was very clean and that was not the issue. The issue was the previous guests inability to not follow the smoke free rules for the property and the owner's choice not to handle our complaint in a professional manner.
Upon arrival, I sent the owner an email complaining bout the odor of smoke in the house, to make sure the owner knew it wasn't us. No response from the owner. I contacted the property management firm, and the gentleman I spoke with was very apologetic and explained he was unable to get the smell out after spraying the house several times. He also gave me the property owneer's personal phone number. I called that, making him aware of the situation and that I'd like to discuss. He did not return the call.
So, we were stuck with a home that wreaked of smoke, that was already paid for, and the owner did not contact me so we could work something out. After all, Nemo's Cove was sitting empty except for the last night of the stay. We could have stayed there, it didn't smell from what I was told. One last thing, all the linens, towels etc. smelled like smoke. All of our bags and other belongings smelled as well.
The pros - Close to Disney (10-15 minutes to the parks) Target (10 minutes) Dining, and the house was clean
The Cons - house smelled like cigarette smoke, and the owner did not attempt to rectify the problem. Also, I had to pay a $30 fee to pay for the rental with my credit card. I bring this up because I noticed below information for VRBO payments are accepted free of charge, and credit cards are included. A property owner that responds quickly to emails when attempting to secure payment for the rental, then radio silent when a problem arises.

Owner's Response: Our home is a smoke free home. Unfortunately the guests staying prior to your visit violated this policy. We did receive an email stating that the house had a smoke smell and asking us not to hold you accountable for it. We appreciated your feedback and our management company was sent out to address the situation as best as possible without disrupting your stay. After the visit from the management company, we assumed your concerns were taken care of since no further contact was established. We are sorry to hear your stay was not as good as your previous visits to our homes. Our management company did the best they could while you were there and have since performed a deep clean of the house following your departure.
