Hale Honu is located in a quiet tropical garden setting 800 feet above sea level with a wonderful spectacular unobstructed panoramic view of the Pacific. It is just minutes from Hookena Beach State Park (where dolphin often play) to the South and Place of Refuge National Historic Park (also a great snorkeling spot) to the North. Our guests are thrilled by the location and the overall quality of their stay. Here is a sample of comments left in our guest book.I awoke again to the wonderful sound of birdsong. We loved eating on the beautiful lanai, and what an awesome view! So very peaceful. It was a delight to have an avocado fall at my feet – great fresh guacamole. Everything exceeded our expectations.John and Gayle and Juan and AnaLivermore, CA and Madrid SpainThank you for providing such a lovely home. It has been a perfect haven from which to launch our adventure. We had great parties on the lanai. So many fish and turtles in Honaunau, and saw dolphins every day. Can’t wait for next time.Mark and LaurieSan Francisco, CAThanks for the use of your big house. Access to the washer/dryer is great with the seven of us. Well equipped kitchen too! I’ll try to remember the beautiful ocean when I’m back in New Mexico.CarolAlbuquerque, NMWe had a lovely month in your wonderful home. Living in the country as we do, we especially liked the rural nature of your part of the island.Dick and JoanElizabeth, ILThanks for a great week in your home. We’d recommend kayaking across the bay to Captain Cook monument, even for inexperienced kayakers. Snorkeling is unbelievable near the monument. Our kids enjoyed the occasional visit out by the back fence by wild cows and pigs! Great place!Sue, Ron, Lauren and JessieAnchorage, AKIt was a very relaxing vacation that we hate to see come
