My husband and young son were in Maine on a family vacation and needed a charming place to stay for three nights in October. To my delight, the owner of this home allowed us to rent the place for just three nights and it worked out perfectly for our needs. The home is cosy and clean and is located within walking distance to the harbor. I'd love to go back when the weather is a bit warmer and all the stores and restaurants are open. I'd most certainly recommend this rental to anyone!

Very cozy and well-kept house afforded a relaxing time just before final holiday bustle. Would absoluelty LOVE to experience this house and town in the summer.

Perfect Booth Bay Harbor Retreat

The house is great, paricularly the spot on recommedations of Lori the caretaker, the front porch for sunrise and sunsets with a view of the Harbor (most locations up on the hill can't see the harbor), the easy walking to all of Boothbay Harbor. Spacious and plenty of room, would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful experience

My husband, 3-year-old daughter and I had a wonderful stay at our Boothbay Harbor rental home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had harbor views. Another plus was its location--a five-minute walk into town. Pretty much a perfect vacation all around! We plan on staying in the same house next summer!

Great House, Great Location

This was not our first time to BBH but it was our first time renting a house for a week and we really lucked out. Very warm and inviting decor in a great location (just a short walk into town) and also very clean. Everything we needed was there and easily accessible. Steve and Lori, the caretakers who live in an apartment connected to the house, were very welcoming and helpful with great suggestions for places to see and eat. Also plenty of fans to help keep us cool since our week was warmer and more humid than typical. Would definitely return!

CLEAR VIEW AND CLEAR MIND

We so enjoyed our stay here! Immaculate and comfortable. We didn't need to bring much because all our needs were already taken care of in this charming well stocked home. This would be a great place to plan a family reunion with so many bedrooms tucked away upstairs, or a quiet get away for two! We took advantage of the close proximity to town, literally a 5 minute walk to the heart of town the waterfront with wonderful shops (Abacca), galleries, and restaurants galore. Our favorite: Blueberry Sangria and Lobster risotto at the Crow's Nest! Splendid. Can't wait to come back again.

Peace on Earth

My wife & I lead busy lives in the Boston area and for years had talked about taking a Maine vacation. Summer was always too hectic so we decided on an October trip. Friends had recommended Boothbay Harbor and after scouting the many home rental options, we settled on this property. Deciding factor was the homeowners were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and gave us 2 weeks worth of activities!
The home definitely over delivered as it is in great repair and really was stocked with everything we could imagine needing. Loved waking up several mornings to the soft sound of the fog horn. The ocean view was amazing. Other pluses include the short walk to town (about 7 minutes), the amazing peace & quite, the decor/cozy factor of the house, ample space and staying 2 weeks. Owners gave us a discount with a 2 week stay vs only 1.
The only negative was the stove didn't light at first but we made 1 call and the neighbor caretaker was there to get it running immediately. Gave us an excuse to have a lobster dinner out the first night.
Will be back again, but next time we are going to try a couple of weeks in April.

A great place to vacation!

I couldn't have been happier renting this quaint, clean Maine home. The town is also walking distance which offers many tasty restaurants. I was their with friends but would really like to bring my family there next time. The photos on this website are spot on but don't do it justice. You will be in awe once you visit in person.

When staying at this beautiful and cozy hill-top house with ocean views, it was difficult to want to leave and go back home. Whether you want to spend the afternoon shopping or eating in BoothBay, or you just want to pull up a lawn chair and relax with some sweet scenery around you, this house is perfectly located. My husband and I really enjoyed walking a few short minutes to town rather than having to drive. It's the best way to "walk off" all those lobster rolls! And it's absolutely refreshing to take in that ocean breeze.
The house has everything you would need to make yourself feel right at home. It's nice to have meals at the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. With the grocery store just down the road, we were able to cook and eat some fabulous meals and just enjoy the quietness this place has to offer.
The bedrooms are quite comfortable. Not too small. Very clean. And all with a cute sense of the beachy East Coast.
The house has everything you would need to make yourself feel right at home. It's nice to have meals at the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. With the grocery store just down the road, we were able to cook and eat some fabulous meals and just enjoy the quietness this place has to offer.
