All you can think of in order to have the best vacation ever. located in the most perfect place, in the heart of the action all around, close to the beach and restaurants, but still away of cars, dust, with tons of privacy. special designed house with artistic effects, an outside patio overlooking an amazing waterfall swimming pool, in the center of a secluded shady jungle garden. the house sleeps up to 7 adults, two full bathrooms with steaming hot water, a Jacuzzi, 2 A/C bedrooms, a 42' flat screen, and a high end kitchen. very luxuriantly accommodating a crazy pool party or a sweet romantic get away. fully secured plus an off street car parking.
the area is beautiful, surfing, diving, white sandy beach, best restaurants, but.... you will be so happy to come back relax beside the pool, have a friends party or just open a wine bottle and order in.
We are a young family, two lovely kids and a dog. 7 years ago my husband and i traveled through Central America. Traveling through Costa Rica, we came across the southern tip of the Nicoya peninsula and fell in love with the place and the people here. Two years later we came back to visit and realize we really don't want to leave. we went back home packed everything with our dog and came to live here.
Since then all we want is to share this wonderfully peace of heaven with others. My husband being an artist and an engineer, built this vacation house we offer by himself. I take care with a lot of love for our vacation rental house. we are both near by 24 hours a day, so it is easy for us to take care personally for any problem, request or just questions you might have during your vacation here.

Awesome place - recommend!
The kitchen has everything you need to host small dinners to a huge BBQ - we had a big one for NYE and wasn't wanting for anything in terms of kitchen stuff.
the pool is lovely on a hot day too.
One thing that is worth bearing in mind is that it is too far to walk from Playa Carmen - where most of the good surf and restaurants are. Taxis are quick and easy to order from the in villa phone and are only $6 each way though (make sure you don't get ripped off for more!) so it's not too much of a problem, though we also rented a car from Playa Carmen to whack our surf boards on top.
Other than this minor thing though, the place is brilliant and Noa was always on hand to help out with anything we needed.

Arrived to Mal pais, with no sleeping arrangements, stayed the first two nights in a nice little hotel in the center of Santa Tereza. Asked around for a private house near the beach for the rest of the stay. Luckily enough our surfing guide told us about this beautiful house that just went on the market.
Arrived to check it out and fell in love with the place. Interesting and cosy design, amazing pool with a waterfall, fully equipped and most importantly, first line to a beautiful, private, quiet beach where we set every evening next to a bonfire, watching the most amazing sunset.
