Good and bad points

Good points:
The owners were friendly and attentative.
Close to the lake (which was lovely), and 15 mins to Annecy by car. The apartment was a good size for two adults and was well equipped. We particularly appreciated the games, barbeque, etc that were provided. The outside area was very pleasant and there were plenty of deckchairs, eating spaces.
Points to consider:
The bathroom and WC is off the main bedroom and not accessible to others sleeping in the main room.
One bath and one hand towel for two adults per week was insufficient.
The cooker is a combi-microwave oven and the instructions were insufficient for us to cook non-microwave meals.
The seemingly new bed had a little fault, in that is appeared to dip slightly in the middle.
We felt the owner was a little pedantic in checking the extensive contents' itinery before returning the deposit cheque.

Owner's Response: It was stipulated in the contract that the rent of the linen and the sheets was to the amount of 12 euro a person, you paid only for a set of towels for 1 person, thus you found, besides sheets and cloths,1 bath mat, 1 bath towel, 1 towel and 1 glove. If you had wanted 2 sets of towels, you would have been able to pay the price rate for it.
Doubtless I am pedantic to verify the apartment at the time of the departure, but you choosed to do the housework before leaving, and it is normal that nothing misses and everything is in a good state for the following ones.
I take good note of your difficulty to use the oven and I am sorry about it, I look for a translation in English for the use of this quite new oven. As regards the bed, we are going to take the measures to improve this little fault.

The Jewel of Veyrier du Lac

Chalet location is in the ideal location of Veyrier du Lac - only 4km away from Annecy town, so close enough to enjoy the attractions there but also having somewhere to retreat to. The facilities within this property are a very high standard, and our hosts (who occupy the upper level of the house) were more than helpful and greeted us with a warm welcome on our arrival. The most important things in the town are only a few minutes walk away i.e. boulangerie, supermarche, public beach, cafe, etc. There are plenty of hiking opportunities in the hills to the rear of the chalet doorstep, or else a more relaxing time at the nearby public beach. There is a water taxi which operates direct to/from Annecy town during the summer months. This is good fun and only takes about 10mins - we used this service once to return after a day when we hiked into Annecy via Mont Veyrier. This was a great holiday for us, and we would have no hesitation to recommend to others.

Die Familie ist sehr nett und unkompliziert und man fühlt sich gleich sehr wohl.
Die schön eingerichtete Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und der herrlich, blaue See/ Strandbad ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Bäcker, kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.Größere Supermärkte sind in Annecy.
Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen optimal geeignet, aber auch eine vierköpfige Familie kann dort gut wohnen. Da das Badezimmer klein und nur durch das Schlafzimmer erreicht werden kann, ist es für zwei Paare nicht gut geeignet.
Die Küchenzeile ist zwar klein, aber gut eingerichtet. Man findet dort Spülmaschine, Kühlschrank, Herd (Induktion), Backofen mit Mikrowelle kombiniert, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, ausreichend Geschirr, Raclette usw., also alles was man so fürs Kochen im Urlaub braucht.
Für Kletterfreunde: Ein herrliches Klettergebiet befindet sich in Lac Veyrier. Von der Wohnung aus erreicht man es zu Fuß in ca. 30 min. Am "le chapeau de napoléon" findet man Routen von 4b bis 7c, die nicht abgespeckt sind.

Appartement meublé avec beaucoup de goût, on l'on se sent bien, comme chez soi, ce qui est favorable à la détente.
L'équipement est de grande qualité et d'une propreté irréprochable.
De plus, la terrasse et le jardin permettent de profiter pleinement de l'extérieur, dans un environnement calme et agréable.
Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse, attentifs à notre bien être. Une documentation très fournie est à la disposition des occupants.
La situation est idéale : proximité de la plage et des commerce, permettant de s'y rendre à pied, et proximité d'ANNECY et des diverses activités à pratiquer.
L'équipement est de grande qualité et d'une propreté irréprochable.

Description parfaitement exacte de cette location, très bien entretenue. Accueil particulièrement chaleureux. Très appréciable le lac à 10 mn de marche, commerces proches. nous avons été séduits et recommanderions avec plaisir cette location.te de cette location, très bien entretenue.
