During our stay the bathroom ceiling leaked ( it was 11pm at night ) my husband went to reception to be told " we cant help you it is a private condo" After much persausion from my husband they allowed him to use their phone to contact the owner - it was fixed but the bathroom was left in a mess - i complained the next day - it was cleaned up .Then we had no hot water for two days - ( boiler issues ) - again no help , then the toilet blocked and overflowed - i contacted the owner who asked me " havent you ever had problems with the plumbing in England " - not very helpful really . whilst we were away from the condo -someone had been in placed more pictures on the wall , a plunger in the bathroom - i was rather upset by this feeling quite violated .The view was beautiful , however i didnt find the staff at the resort helpful nor pleasant - the owner wasnt much better to be honest . The condo is in need of refurbishment and was very outdated . On a more positive note weather was beautiful , Galveston is gorgeous.
Owner's Response: Well some people just cant be pleased! and why make normal maintenance issues a big thing. the a/c had a drip from the ceiling when they arrived no one would know this because it started leaking after it was cleaned. it is very humid in galveston and condensation leaks are very common. after was called it was fixed within an hour and cleaned up. the toilet was stopped up 3 or 4 day after they arrived ok no biggy we all have stopped up the toilet in our lives, she told me she never had a toilet stop up hummm? i had that fixed within an hour. the hot water to building 3 was a big problem! for the day and a half they had to replace the boiler, i offered them a room in another building so they could shower at my cost until it was repaired they chose not to? i live in dallas and i happen to be down in galveston this weekend i was adding some finishing touches my other condos so i thought i would introduce myself to them, i stopped by 4 times that weekend they where out every time i stopped by. they didnt have a phone to call because they where from out of the country? So i personally checked out the condo to make sure all was repaired and there wouldnt be any issues for thrier 2 week stay. while i was there i noticed the bathroom had a empty space on the wall so i went to the store and bought a beautifull metal daisy picture frame for the bathroom wall that would brighten it up. we hadnt had a chance to pick up a decoration for that bathroom yet. and i also left a plunger in all my condos i thought that would be a good idea from now on like being at home. as for the condo being updated the pictures speak for themselves new remodel, paint and furniture this year! there is not one thing in this condo that is outdated or old. all brand new. as for the people that work there thay are as nice as can be when not talked down too. and any help needed is a phone call away. i could not ignore responding to such false claims on my well taken care of condos! thanks again for looking

We were very impressed with our room, very clean with a great view of the Gulf. The beach was only a short walk from our room which was across the street and very close to many shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying at this owners properties as the condos are very nice and responsibly priced.

Overall this place was good. Exactly like the pictures, plenty of space for my family. Mostly we wanted it for the kitchen because of having a child. Saved a lot on food because we ate there for all meals except dinner. Plus having the living room and balcony he could run around and be out of the sun. A few things; it does over look the pool and got kinda rowdy over the weekend but only til 10pm but you could hear people slamming other doors and yelling in the breeze way outside the condo. Nothing that bothered us, just we could hear it. The bottom bunk is so close to the top bunk. My husband could not sleep under there comfortably, which I'm sure they assume kids would sleep on it but still of note if another family like mine thinks an adult could use it. I slept on the top bunk with my 1yr old just fine. My husband switched to the pull out couch and slept great there!

Owner's Response: Im glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo, as for the bunk beds we decided to put in upgraded comfortable matresses, not the standard cheap bunk bed matresses, so they are deeper. we thought about the comfort first, yes they are alittle closer than normal .the pools are closed at 10 pm sorry if it got loud people slam the doors in the hallway and it echos some people are not considerate of others. hope to see you again dave

The condo was just as it was advertised. We had enough room for my family of five to be comfortable. The view was amazing and my three year old loved the pool! Walmart and restaurants are very close! The owner was easy to work with and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. We had a great stay and have already begun planning next year's trip to the same place!

Nice view and location

This condo was priced right. Easy check in. Quick return of deposit funds. The door knob lock didn't work. The condo was very small and outdated and needs a thorough cleaning. Anytime I rent a room I feel like toilet paper should be provided. It wasn't. We left some for the next guests.
Owner's Response: im glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo! i am a little shocked on the 2 star review. i do have lots of pictures of the condo and the decor so there should not have been any suprises, we have a new flat screen and new sleeper sofa few weeks old, we also have brand new sheets and comforters a few weeks old. i dont think a non locking door handle should be in a review i think that should be a heads up email or phone call for us so we can repair it. as for the toilet paper i agree that you sholud not have had to look for some. it is in our checklist for the cleaning personel, they must have overlooked it very sorry. we recently aquired this condo and are updating it as quick as possible but with the summer vacation rush there is just so much we can do. i think the size is pretty standard for a one bedroom condo or hotel. mabey next time you could consider a 2 bedroom or a beach house thanks for renting with us dave

Great Condo!

We had a great time staying at this condo. It was close enough to walk to the beach and surrounded by everything we needed. It is a short walk to restaurants and stores and a short drive to other great attractions. The condo was great, plenty of room for us. The place was clean and had a great view of the ocean.The only complaint I had was that we had to go buy dishwasher detergent and coffee filters and then we couldn't figure out the coffee maker, but oh well we had a great time.
