I have been coming to Nank's Bluff ever since I came back from Iraq 3 yrs ago. A must stay for the outdoors man. So many opportunities, Nank's Bluff is centrally located on the North Fork, which has some of the best trout fishing in Colorado. The water from the confluence is gin clear and flows right in front of the cabin. I have yet to pull a fish out that was smaller then 14 inches, on my most recent trip I pulled 4 trout all 20 inches, hence the reason why I return several times a year. The rainbow are plentiful, big, very visible with or with out polarized lens and most importantly eager to bite. Be sure to visit Fly's and Ties, the local fly shop located 1/4 mile up the road. There is also a coffee shop, liquor store and small general store that can supply most of your immediate needs. This cabin is also a great hunting lodge. Only a few minutes away from the best Turkey roosting vein in ALL of Colorado. In my opinion the turkey hunting has been essentially untapped, the entrance of Rampart
Range, has a lot of birds. Most people over look this area due to the motor cross activities and noise. The birds are not skittish one bit. You can practically walk within 20 yards of them with out them flying away. I have not Deer hunted the area yet, but have seen many great looking Bucks. Most importantly the cabin sits right at the water edge, great for reading a book and passing the day by with friends. I live in Denver and the Cabin is only 1 hr from my house! I recommend this place to all of my friends.

Owner's Response: If you like this review, Vic also left directions to his favorite fishing hole in the guest book at the cabin. Addditionally, Vic failed to mention that they bagged a turkey, great going guys.
