Cabin: Cabin is located in the gem capital area of Cowee valley, it was a modular we have completely remodeled with log siding and wood interiors. It has a firepit next to the cabin for campfires and marshmellows. Master bedroom has Queen pooster bed with nice pillowtop mattressand full garden tub/shower bathroom. Second bedroom has a full mattress with memory foam topper. There' s a seperate kitchen, dining, and living area all with wood interior. 32' flat screen with Direct TV and dvd player, washer/dryer, front deck with a peaceful and quiet forest view. Rental includes 2 panning screens to try your luck in the creek and surrounding native areas for gold or Gems 'This is the gem capital area' so you never know

Rental type: This is not a row cabin it is a stand alone private property, It has an 8x10 front deck with a quiet forest (not mountain) view. As mentioned it is a doublewide/modular that has new wood interior walls thru kitchen, living area and master bedroom to give the mountain cabin feel. The real value in this rental is in the private 10 acres of beautiful creek access and the Carolina mountain experience. This is not the Hilton and we do not issue refunds. We just added a new leather sofa and love seat . All linens and kitchen set ups are mid grade and were purchased new this year. It has a centrally located brand new 12K btu window AC and ceiling fans in the living and master bedroom, central gas heat and a wood burning fire place. It has a professionally cleaned short berber carpet thru out except the kitchen. There is a narrow trail that leads up to a sitting area on the cabins property that does have a power co. cleared mountain view (pictured),from here creek can be heard but not seen

Creek picnic area is a must: If your looking for a private way to get outdoors and experience what this area has to offer that's where we shine. There are two areas to choose from both have over 10 acres of creek frontage. The private area for this cabin is approx. 1/2 mile up the gravel road. There is a place to park and take a short hike down to the creek or you can use the provided 4 wheeler (slow adult driving only) and cruise right up to the Berry's grill picnic area. Including table,hammock, xtra chairs, and sideways tree. Or take the the split trail to the upper end where there are more small falls with laurel tunnel paths and beautiful huge boulders. Across the creek is all national forest that you can hike and find 30ft and larger tiered falls up stream. There are hiking trails along the creek and we encourage creating more as you explore. The other area has a 4 wheeler/hiking trail just below the cabin that leads to a falls/deck area that is shared with property 169446 (Pictures) and they have 1st dibbs
