As Good As It Gets

What a great week!
Awesome house, spacious, right on the lake, and a lift to dock an 18' foot boat we rented for a few days. Owners Tina and Steve couldn't have been more hospitable, checking with us a few times during the week to see if we needed anything. And then there is the long term tenant, Dan, who lives in the apartment attached to the other side of the house. What a great guy...gave us tons of local knowledge, lent us fishing gear, helped us with our boat, invited us to take herbs from his garden; I could go on and on. We hung out together, and had him over for dinner.
We brought our kayaks with us and took advantage of kayaking on the lake everyday, as well as taking our rental boat to wineries and restaurants on the lake.
All in all just a perfect vacation in every way.
We already asked for the same week next summer!

Wonderful Week at Cayuga Lake

Our July 14th week long stay at Cayuga Lake was made memorable by this comfortable lake house with friendly neighbors and hospitable owners Steve and Tina. Our needs were met with the availability of many amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained. We are seriously considering renting there again next summer for our annual family gathering.

Beautiful and very quiet location. Large bedrooms provided plenty of space for our group that ranged from three to nine people staying overnight, and up to 17 guests during the day. The docks have no railings and the beach area is sloped and smaller than what we thought, so it's not young child friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and appliances. We really appreciated the washer and dryer! The owners responded promptly to a couple of issues in the house. Be prepared for a 15 minute drive to the house once you get to Honoco Rd. Overall, a great house, responsive owners, and a beautiful location. I would recommend this property unless there are toddlers in the group. Highly recommend the Aurora Inn for lunch or dinner. King Ferry Winery also fun to visit. Everyone who came left with wonderful memories. Thank you.

Beautiful home, great owners and neighbors!
We had a wonderful time and weather was perfect.
Property is clean, well-maintained and very comfortable.
We had anywhere from one to eight people sleeping overnight and there was plenty of space.
