Review from the Barrington family, England
We were most fortunate to have chosen to spend a week in this gorgeous apartment with our 2 daughters, who are 12 and 15. The Apartment is every bit as stunning and spacious as the photographs on the website. Everything you could need is available, even a computer and a printer so that you can check in and print off your boarding passes for the trip home (Not that you'll ever want to leave) The Apartment is exceptionally quiet, even though it is on Broadway, and the beds are so comfortable! The location, minutes from Union Square subway station, is perfect for being able to get anywhere within New York City really quickly. I would recommend a buying a Pass for the subway as it is by far and away the fastest way of getting around, as there are so many stations. There are lots of restaurants, shops and cafes within a few minutes walk of the Apartment. We had breakfast at Cosi's, just across the street on quite a few mornings. Harriette and Mark live upstairs from the Apartment and were on hand for any queries or advise that we needed - eg which cab company to use for the journey back to the airport. We made sure that we 'did' all of the usual Tourist things, but would also recommend The Highline, which isn't on any of the Tourist promotional materials as it is free. We bought the New York Explorer Pass on-line before we travelled, which is a good way of seeing a number of attractions at a reduced price. We would most definitely recommend this Apartment to anyone looking for a great location in New York. Thank you Harriette and Mark for looking after us so well!
