A Great Place to stay. Lake Marion Resort makes it easy to enjoy all that Florida has to offer! Located in southeast Kissimmee on the shores of Lake Marion and only 45 minutes from Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios. Just 20 minutes from Lego Land ! Gulf coast.beaches or Atlantic beaches are also within easy driving distance.
'A great place to stay if you want tourist activities during the day then peace and quiet at night. Very well kept community, short walk to a beautiful lake and two great pools. This condo is very nice and clean. A great value. I would recommend this resort and condo for all! '
Of course, Before there was 'Disney' there was Golf. you will have all the comforts of home in the spacious, three-bedroom, two bath villa. The condo boasts a fully-equipped kitchen.
My wife and I are going to celebrate 40 years of marriage this coming June 2013, We have 3 children and 2 grand children. I am self employed Contractor, 'The Toolman, A Handyman Service and my wife is an associate at 'Southward Ho Country Club'.
About 20 years ago my wife had a brain tumor. After a year of doctors, hospitals, work, family, the house, etc... We wanted to go to Disney. We planned on making it in 3 days, leaving after work staying in Washington DC, and a 'Red Roof Inn', in Jacksonville, Fl. We woke up to a emergency snow warning for the east coast. We had reservations at a Disney World Resort, and a lot of snow wasn't going to stop us. All the kids were on board, the last year taught them about getting things done. Through one of the harshest snow storms I can remember we drove down to Florida. Interstate 95 was empty. Well there were a lot of memories made on that trip.
We got to Disney, stayed the 3 days and 2 nites. Disney was great. We decided to stay longer but the cost of an unexpected stay at Disney would put a hurting on our budget. That was when we were introduced to vacation rentals.
For about $40 a night we rented a condo. We had breakfast in the condo and maybe another meal if we felt like it. Eating out wasn't imperative and activities were shared with other families at the complex. We continue to go out but we had a nice spacious place to come back to.
We've been going back to since. Purchasing this condo gives us a winter retreat and a place for our grown family to meet.
Lake Marion Resorts backs a state preserve. You are in Central Florida, Wild life, cattle ranches, orange groves, 10 minutes to local shopping including a 'Public's' , 'Super Walmart', and a 'Lowe's'. 20 to 50 minutes mostly everywhere else.
A gated community that offers peace of mind. A lake, 2 pools, whirl pool, Pool table, Tennis court, Basketball court, why leave... enjoy more of Florida.
