Perfect for our needs

The back chalet was perfect for us. It was more room than we needed, but we liked the privacy being back from the street. Overall, it was pretty quiet so the front house probably would have been fine, too, since there were only the two of us. The decorating and appointments were so well done with warmth and artistry. Pearl was very responsive to anything we needed, too.
I recommend you look at a bird-eye view of the property so you see where it is. It is an interesting location, but not bad in anyway. We spent time next door at the auction house, which is a treasure trove for just about anything you might be interested in, including lots of information about Prescott from the proprietors. This was handy since we are considering a move to Prescott.
The proximity to downtown was very handy as we were walking distance to almost anything we needed or wanted, even though it snowed almost every day we were there. Not enough snow to slow much down, but enough to make everything look magical. We took in all the galleries downtown and ate at several restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Prescott Station Bar & Grille -- amazing food and service.
