MY group and I had an excellent time. Cabin was clean and well kept. We had everything we needed. View from the cabin was great and location to Gore Mountain could not have been better. The only think that would have made it better, a Jacuzzi.

Great time, perfect cabin!

My group had a great time in this cabin - it's not too "precious" so that you're worried about breaking things; but it's nice and mountain-y all the same. We pulled the couches around the fireplace and spent days reading, skiing, and cooking. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cookware and some condiments, and there are also lots of games in case you like them. We really loved the floor-to-ceiling windows, so we could watch the snow falling on the trees and the lake.

canadian thanksgiving weekend with friends

A group of 8 friends came to the cabin for a 3 day weekend from New York: this was exactly what we were looking for! an amazing view, proximity to a super cute town and amazing hikes and mountains, a very homey atmosphere and an extremely well equipped kitchen... it was the perfect 3 day weekend. The cabin is big enough to sleep 8 very comfortably. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact with questions. Strongly recommended!

Perfect Stay, Cant expect more!

It was a weekend stay at this chalet. We were group of 7 people and the stay was awesome. With a warm and cozy feeling, we cant ask for more:) thanks for such a wonderful place. it has got an excellent location, I recommend wake up early morning and look at the views from the deck, its simply heaven.

My husband and I brought our daughter to the Chalet for a nice quiet vacation to celebrate her college graduation! It was a beautiful home and a wonderful location. We had all the peace and quiet we desired. Chris was very helpful with our preparations for our trip. We are hoping to return sometime in the next few years. There was plenty to do in the area. We hiked, swam and kayaked.

The ideal spot for our weekend rafting trip

The chalet was in a quiet corner just by the lake with a gorgeous view. It was clean with linen provided for all the bedding. The space was huge with a big living area/fully stocked kitchen. The chalet had more than ample sleeping space with the added space in the loft. The furniture was rustic and in good taste. All in all, it proved to be the right place to relax after a whole day of rafting.

It was perfect for what we wanted which was a place to sleep that was close to gore mountain....the location was great but the house was outdated and the beds were not comfortable.

Owner's Response: We are actively working to increase the comfort of the beds. Some of the style of the house has a cabin feel but we provide modern amenities that our guests come to expect. We have taken the time to speak with this guest directly and we appreciate her feedback. We plan to continue updating the property this summer season and look forward to her family's return in the future.

Great Chalet with prime location

This Chalet is nicely placed up in the Adirondack's within minutes of many summer and winter attractions. For the Winter it is a 5 minute drive to the base of Gore mountain with a good view of the upper half of the mountain from the deck. It is also located right next to the Hudson river for rafting and canoeing/kayaking with plenty of mountains and trails to hike during the days.
Plenty of room for a good size group to get away for the weekend. We enjoy our time up there every time we go up as there is always something to do inside or out.

Just a quick note to tell you that we really enjoyed our stay in your chalet and North Creek. We hiked a lot, went to the Pottersville Stone Bridge which we thoroughly enjoyed and canoed. Every day was full. Your kitchen was excellently stocked with pots and pans and dishes and everything else under the sun. We cooked a lot even after exhausting days.
Healthy, happy, active and relaxing times in a beautiful environment with a lot to discover.
You have a beautiful and welcoming place and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. We are sad to be leaving but have had a great time.
