We recently stayed at this wonderful house!!! It was such a great getaway for us and our 5 & 10 year old. The pictures were accurate. The owner was very nice and accomadating.the lagoon was a great place to swim and sit on rafts!! We caught tons of catfish. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked evey meal there. The house was very clean. If the there was any down side at all, which would be tiny, there was no access in and out of lake from our dock( no stairs). But lucky for us the neighbors on one side were so super nice, they did not mind us using their stairs. We really did have a great vacation and would highly recommend! Thank you Peter!

Wonderful time!!

We had a great time over the weekend! The deck, where we ate many meals had a great view of the lagoon and the lake. The yard was beautifully trimmed, with no sand burrs or cockle burrs present, so running around in bare feet was the order of the day. The dock was a great launch pad for jumping into the lake, and since the lagoon was about 4 feet deep off the dock, it was perfect for my 9-year-old granddaughter to swim in. I hooked the largest sand bass I have ever seen right off the dock. (He's still out there!) Nice neighbors as well! We will be coming back!

A winter retreat

We would definitely recommend this lake house for it's charm and pleasant views of the water especially at sunset. The deck is nice to sit outside and relax or barbeque on. The house and lawn were very well maintained prior to our arrival and the obtrusiveness of someone mowing, blowing etc did not occur during our stay. The nearby town GunBarrel City has an Italian restaurant, a couple of Mexican and of course some with fantastic Texas Bar-B-Q! There is also plenty of stores nearby to buy groceries and water toys in. I have and would continue to recommend this property to friends and family and plan on renting again in the near future.
