Chilling out in Candi Dasa
We had two lovely weeks here,the unit was just gorgeous,extremely comfortable bed,a very peaceful place to just relax,we swam in the pool everyday.
Candi Dasa is a really nice contrast to the Kuta area,very quiet,the locals are very friendly. Plenty of really nice restaurants i don't think we ate at the same place twice,some fantastic music here,most nights there is music somewhere, very enjoyable.
The resort is very nice,staff are so friendly and helpful, they know you by name very quickly,shuttle bus is a great way to get to the other end of town if your feeling a bit tired.
Lots of places to explore, Made the driver is fantastic and got to be a real friend.
The unit is very clean and the photos of the property are accurate,and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic
My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the above property for 5 nights in August 2012. This was our first time in Bali and wanted to start the adventure somewhere more peaceful and less exploited than the craziness of Kuta/Legian/Seminyak. We definitely made the right choice. We loved the accommodation and the resort facilities. The villa had everything we needed and is the same as the photos. It was perfectly positioned within easy walking distance to plenty restaurants. We just hired a car and explored the whole region.
Thanks Margaret for letting us enjoy your paradise. We will definitely be back. Btw we enjoyed Seminyak etc but really felt relaxed and unwound when we were in and around Candidasa.

TRUE holiday!
Orchid is a lovely, spacious appartment, fully equipped. The terrace at the back gives you a view of the sunset. From the terrace at the front you walk straight into the pool! The view: the pool, palmtrees, the hotelbar (small & lovely, with lively happy hours and brilliant staff) and the sea with some small islands.
The photos on HomeAway give an exact view of Orchid and its surroundings. Lovely place to stay: the island, the surroundings, the location, resort and appartment; to go snorkling, make trips inland. Candi Dasa offers everything you need, including some really good restaurants, all on walking distance from Orchid. The appartment is cleaned thoroughly every day, and a nice touch: the bed is made different everyday and small, colourful flowers are left!
We have come to get to know the owner, Margaret, as a fantastic woman, who aspires to get the best for her guests; with us she definitely succeeded: we had a fantastic stay! To have a carefree holiday, we truly recommend Orchid!

We will be back!!!
We took our family of 7 people on a 7 day/6 night relaxation trip to Candi Dasa! Perfection!
My Wife, Baby Girl and I had the pleasure of staying at Orchid while we were there and absolutely loved it. It is a fantastic size for a couple or small family (our girl is 20 months and slept in bed with us however they do have cots available if you need them) with an amazing location within the resort, take just 2 steps past your front courtyard and you are in the pool. The Bar and Restaurant is also just there.
The apartment is perfect with a massive bathroom with a shower and bath that is attached to the large King Size Bedroom (super comfy) which overlooks the pool. The lounge is also big with Pay TV and a large sofa, we spent a lot of time in there with 7 people comfortably playing cards and Mahjong till late in the night.
The Kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need if you want to do your own cooking. We didn't do much though as the food at the Resort and in the Restaurants around was just too good!
There is also a front and back courtyard where you can just relax or have some drinks and dinner on your own if you need a little down time.
We had a fantastic time lounging by the pool in the sun, swimming, eating, touring Candi Dasa and the surrounding area. We all had at least 1 massage every day and the girls at the resort were fantastic!
We also went Diving which they can organize for you, and best of all it's at really cheap rates, the team is professional, safe and a lot of fun to dive with be it your first time or as a Master Diver!
There is also always a lovely sea breeze which is really nice on the hot sticky days.
A big THANK YOU to Margaret for having us and we are already planning to come back again next year for another week of eating, drinking, swimming and relaxing bliss!

Every picture tells a story but this was better that we ever expected. Stunning apartment, amazing views great facilities (we loved the pool and massages!), fabulous location close to shops & restaurants and the staff were absolutely beautiful - lovely, lovely people! For anyone wanting accommodation with new modern facilities then you can't go past' Orchid' at Candidasa. Thanks Margaret & David - we had the best holiday!

ECHT vakantie
Voor iedereen die ECHT vakantie wil hebben, raden wij Orchid aan! Het prachtig ruime appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanaf het terras aan de achterzijde kun je de zon onder zien gaan. Vanaf het terras aan de voorzijde, loop je zo het heerlijke zwembad in. Je hebt uitzicht over het zwembad, palmbomen, de hotelbar (klein maar fijn; met een gezellig happy hour!) en over de zee met wat eilandjes. De foto's op HomeAway geven EXACT het appartement en de omgeving weer! Als je 's morgens opstaat en je opent de gordijnen of luiken, is het precies een vakantieplaatje. Het appartement wordt dagelijks spik en span schoongemaakt, met een leuk detail: het bed wordt elke dag anders opgemaakt en er worden bloemetjes neergelegd! Je voelt je onzettend welkom!
Candi Dasa biedt alles wat je nodig hebt, waaronder heerlijke restaurantjes. Prima uitvalsbasis om heerlijk te snorkelen in de omgeving en het binnenland in te trekken. De eigenaresse Margaret hebben wij leren kennen als een fantastisch mens die ernaar streeft om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Dat is bij ons zeker gelukt, we hebben het er helemaal heerlijk gehad!
