Perfect weekend in Paso

We had a wonderful stay at the ranch. The guest house was so cozy and quiet. The location was perfect, nestled among the best west-side wineries in Paso Robles. We were very close to the Templeton farmer's market and Joe's Other Place (diner), which were great places to stop by too. The bed was quiet comfortable and their dogs were adorable. Thank you!

This place is the perfect, cozy choice when staying in Paso Robles. It is perched up on a foothill in the middle of wine vineyards; it's scenic, comfortable, and peaceful. You are away from it all, but at the same time, within close proximity to Paso, Templeton, and definitely a bunch of wine tasting. They really pay attention to detail. We were greeted with a delicious bottle of red wine, they have a hot spot for wi-fi, which is handy for yelping restaurants, and they leave you lots of literature for the surrounding area. While we enjoyed some nice dinners in town, we took full advantage of the kitchen in the mornings, preparing breakfast. It's really nice to brew coffee, and take in the morning sun, looking over the countryside. Their two dogs are super cute and friendly, and also make you feel a little safer. We'll be back.

My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary here and it was wonderful! It was peaceful, comfortable, beautiful, and very close to a multitude of great wineries and food while still feeling intimate and remote. We loved every minute of it!

I stayed at the Oakdale Ranch for the weekend and was so sad to leave! It's the kind of place that you feel like you could stay forever. What am I reasons you may ask? How about these: beautiful surroundings, the friendliest dogs on the planet, the best/cutest cabin ever, plush bed, and wineries! I wish I could go to this place every weekend (and get away from the urban chaos of LA.....)

We stayed at the Guest house from 6/25 to 6/27 and we loved it! It is the perect place if you need a good night of sleep and fresh air. Gorgeous views from the top of the hill and lots of privacy and only 11 minutes drive to Downtown Paso Robles. My husband also LOVED the saloon, we took great pictures there. The house is very comfortable for 2 and they have two lovely dogs that made sure we were safe, thanks Lulu & Pono! ;o)

We will come back sometime!

Aloha!

A Hidden Treasure!

Perfectly situated on a hillside within a short distance of some of the best wineries the central coast has to offer, this property is a charming, quiet, clean and affordable retreat. Waking from the comfy bed, our perfect day began with making coffee in the well appointed kitchenette and my indulging in a bath while planning our day of wine tasting in the area. The proximity to local attractions such as the beach, hot springs, Cambria, wineries, downtown Paso Robles, Firestone Brewery made our visit one to remember and a trip to book again soon! I highly recommend booking a long weekend to really enjoy the property which includes the historic and rustic saloon and leisurely walks or picnics on the property. Just add wine!

Perfect Hideaway but close to all Paso Robles area activities

The Oakdale Ranch was the perfect hideaway for my husband and I’s four day weekend! The house was so cute, the bed and pillows super comfortable, and the area so quiet made it relaxing and romantic. We made coffee, eggs and toast in the kitchenette every morning and were sent off by Lulu and Pono (the two ranch dogs) before we left for our daily activities. The house is in close proximity to many of the Paso wineries, 30 min to Morro Bay, and 10 minutes to downtown Paso Robles which made it easy to take mid afternoon naps before the next activity. The last day we drank our wine in the Saloon and loved all the interesting artifacts and history. We can’t wait to come back in the fall for another visit!

Other info per review tips questions:
- Listing was accurate
- Photos are spot on and more on the home website
- Rental was clean and looks upgraded
- Owner website is helpful for identifying activities (spa, restaurants, one day excursions)
- Highly recommend the property to friends and family
- Nearby activities I would recommend: Morro Bay Kayaking, River Rock Spa, Artisan restaurant (Paso Robles), Jan Kris/Veris for sparkling wines
