We had a friends weekend 20 years in the making and we could not have found a more perfect place! The design of the house provides for great togetherness (cooking is fun because the chef is right in the mix of everything) and yet very private bedrooms (not that much sleep happened). We LOVED the house and all of the surprise design features. It is a gem. The location is spectacular--an easy walk to the beach and a stunning view. Part of what made the trip so great was the fondness that grew with Dennis, the designer and owner of this home. He is so easy to work with and is the perfect reason to not deal with big inpersonal hotels. Oh yes, our one canine companion had a fabulous weekend too, Thank you, Dennis for sharing your home and for the extra football game!

If you are planning a vacation or just want to get away and relax, check out this beautiful Oceanside, Oregon, vacation rental home. It was the perfect setting for our family vacation. The views awesome, the beach magnificent, and the home itself, beautiful. The owner was great to work with!! We, (my family) highly recommend this lovely home!!

Spent the first week of August at the "HOUSE" it was awesome. Great location with perfect views and access to the beach. Really enjoyed the low tides and looking at sea critters.

The wife and I had two of our daughters with their husbands and one grandaughter plus two dogs with us. The two dogs pressed the limit on space but they were great and created no problems.

My daughter, grandsons and I had a wonderful time at Oceanside. The house was very comfortable for the four of us and close to the beach access. I especially enjoyed watching my grandsons play at the beach while I was perched on the deck or just inside next to the gas fireplace. We found agates and enjoyed the tide pools at minus tide. Wow! I can't wait to go back and bring my husband and dog. They will love it! Thank you for everything!

We used the house for a family gathering to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The house, it's location and the splendid weather made for one of the best coast experiences we have ever had as a family. The house is intelligently designed for it's small lot space, providing great views of the water and people playing on the beach. We did see whales, which was a treat! The amenities were everything we expected. The house was simple, tasteful, clean and uncluttered, peaceful. It's close proximity to the coffee shop, and beach access was a plus.

We appreciated Dennis-- he was truly helpful, flexible and a pleasure to work with.We hope to visit this house again.

We just stayed at this house over the weekend. The view is perfect. You are perched just high enough for a panoramic view but low enough where it is only a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. The main living area (kitchen/dining & living/television) is filled with huge windows and makes for a very enjoyable space to hang out. There is also an additional living room area downstairs that is perfect if you have kids (we do not have kids, but it would be a great place to set them up with a movie while adults do their own thing upstairs in the evening) or would be a great place to sit and read separate from the main action upstairs.

The house is new, clean, and nicely laid out. All three bedrooms are very comfortable and far enough apart from each other where you also have your own space.

Oceanside is a wonderful, quaint little beach town. Although it lacks the retail/candy/etc shops, it has a nice little coffee shop at the end of the street by this house and also has an excellent restaurant called Roseanna's. We ate at Roseanna's and were very impressed.

Perhaps one of our favorite things about staying here was the absence of cell phone reception. It was so relaxing not to hear a single cell phone ring. The owner has wireless internet set up in the home as well as cable television and a land line, so you are more than covered, BUT you also are without the most annoying, nagging one - cell phones.

Overall, favorite beach house rental yet and we will definitely go back. The owner, Dennis, is very friendly and incredibly easy to work with. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at the coast, rain or shine.

We had an excellent time at your home in Oceanside. The residence is absolutely beautiful and the views and ocean beach access are the best we've had yet during our several stays in Oceanside. The listing is unable to do justice to your attention to detail and quality of construction and interior accommodations. Everything worked top notch and we were cozy, warm and comfortable thru the stormy days of our visit. We especially enjoyed the large widows and the warmth of the gas fireplace. We were 4 adults and 3 dogs and had plenty of room. Superbowl on the big screen was fabulous! Thanks for having us, we will definitely be recommending your place to others.

My only hesitation writing this review is not wanting others to find this lovely house since it will be harder for me to stay there again in the future. It is a beautifully designed house with many elegant touches. With three bedrooms and a pull out couch in living room, it was perfect for my two sisters, mom and me. Good TV, audio equipment and wireless internet.

It is in a great location in Oceanside - close to the coffee shop, yet high enough to have a fabulous view. It is about three blocks from the beach, so a very easy walk. The owner was prompt and helpful. We were in Oceanside on a stormy weekend, so the wave watching was great.

We enjoyed Roseann's food and dessert, as well as Brewin' in the Wind coffee shop. We definitely hope to stay here again, and I'll be recommending it to my friends.
