Elegant Rooms and Friendly Service

We had the good fortune to stay overnight at the Manor House in July this year. It is an old hotel in the heart of Madison, right beside a beautiful park with a monument dedicated to the "Four Freedoms" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Freedoms). The building is amazing, with a long front porch that is perfect for sipping margaritas at sunset. But you have to remember that Madison is located in one of Florida's dry counties, so bring your own! We stayed in Suite 7, which is really more like a luxury apartment than a room at a B&B. It has a huge living area, a capsule kitchen, laundry, good sized bedroom, and 2 full baths. The place was spotless, and tastefully decorated in an eclectic but elegant style. Ginny Weeks, proprietor, pointed out some nice touches like a little shelf in the bedroom to recharge your iPad, and that the refrigerator was stocked with sodas and water! The air conditioning was cool. The bed was ultra comfy. Really, we were in hog heaven! Thanks Ginny, we'll be back!
