Up or Down, lounge away the morning as the white tail-cliff dwelling birds and pelicans soar at eye level. During Feb.& March, if you're patient, you may see the whales migrating north not far off shore. A bonus-no mosquitos as you and the home are high up & with oceanbreeze!
Either UP or Downstairs Apts. can be rented for short stay of 3 days to 2 weeks or if you choose an an extended stay of several weeks or months at significantly reduced rates.
Note under the 'RATES' that the lower APT. which is best for a total of 3 persons is rented at a significant savings.
There are numerous local restaurants & fast foods in the very immediate area even within walking distance. Also Noli Beach just a 5 minute walk away and numerous others from a 5 minute to 30 minute drive away. Both grocery stores and general shopping be it K-Mart, Sears, Wal-Mart, etc, all within 15-20 minutes driving.
Upon making a reservation, we will send you a Word Doc attachment with extensive info about the area as well as driving directions for restaurants, beaches, points of interest, even medical services. From this central location you'll be able to visit the Arecibo Observatory, the Camuy Caverns or go surfing at nearby beaches.
Remember you can fly not only into San Juan Airport (SJU) but also into Borinquen International Airport (BQN) via United, Jet Blue and Spirit. BQN is only a short 25 minutes drive to Quebradillas.

HIstoric Nature of Property & Area: The historic nature of the property adds to one's enjoyment. The photos say it all. The road outside of the property used to be the Spanish railroad right of way where the tracks ran. You can take an easy walk on the paved road in either direction and even talk with the long-time neighbors who have vivid memories of when they were children and would at times sneak a ride on the cargo car to the displeasure of their 'steaming-mad' parents. At the end of HW 113 at the intersection with HW 2, you can lounge in the park (called El Merendero de Guajataca) and take in more of the mesmerizing views of the blue ocean.
Of course you may have a hard time getting away from the balconies of the Upstairs or Downstairs apts. as their respective balconies comfortably sit you right in front of the 200 foot cliff towering above the below ocean. No fear of Tsunamis at that elevation. Marvel at the white tail birds & pelicans soar in front of you at eye level in the am. There's even a stairway down the face of the cliff to the beach below but it's only for the fit to hike back up and remember your descent down is at your own risk. Only those in good physical condition should consider going down and as you can well appreciate, you must do at your own risk. It's a virtual jungle & incredibly interesting with all types & forms of vegetation.
