"The place was as described, really clean, cute and in a great neighborhood. We had no problem with wireless internet and used it the entire length of our stay. We didn't end up using the kitchen at all, but the shower was always warm with good pressure, it was a quiet apartment and Evan was very accommodating; he allowed us to check in early and check out late. I would absolutely recommend this place."

"Fantastic stay! Location was perfect, and everything was clean and washed. Bathroom is small but beautiful. Bedrooms were comfortable as well. There were 4 of us that stayed at Evan's place and we all enjoyed ourselves. Evan was a pleasure to communicate with, and very helpful. Thank you!"

This apartment was just as described. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a two week stay - and amazingly quiet considering the fabulous location. There are three or four subways within easy walking distance which made it easy to get just about anywhere we wanted. There are so many great restaurants within a couple of blocks we never used the kitchen. We also loved the Highline Park just two blocks walk, Times Square and the theatre district three subway stops away and being able to walk to Greenwich Village, Nolita ... Evan was great to deal with - easy going and accommodating. Anyone with ordinary fitness should be able to cope with the stairs. Would definitely stay here again.

Fourth Floor Walk-up

This is a fourth floor walk-up in an unattractive building. The stairs are narrow and steep and are difficult to negotiate if you have a heavy bag. I went back to the description on the listing after we arrived and found the note about the stairs at the very end. I had missed that, and have now learned my lesson to read all the way to the bitter end of a listing.
The apartment has the feeling of a just-out-of-college space. It was clean but run down, especially the tiny kitchen. The bedrooms are extremely quiet but the mattresses are too soft. The living room, also tiny, is bright but has no view. There is construction taking place in the garden below, and a metal welder was out there at 8am banging on metal beams.
The location is fine but this is not one of the better blocks in Chelsea. We had minimal contact with the owner, but he did get us in and out in a timely manner.

Was in town for 4 days and this unit was great for my needs. Clean, great location and safe. Could never get the TV to work but hey, we were in Manhattan and spent almost all of our waking moments out. Would use it again.
