CAYO LOCO are very comfortable, casually elegant beach houses with all the amenities necessary to make living on the beach a pleasure. Once you arrive, you may never want to leave but you can wander down the beach a few minutes to a lovely new beach club with a fabulous bistro, jacuzzi, infinity pool with a swim-up bar, lounging beds and welcoming staff.

Spear fish on your reefs and bring back your lobster or grouper dinner. You've earned a nap in the hammock lulling between the palm trees but try to stay awake for star gazing on the deck when the sun goes down. Become 'zimzala' - free-spirited and find peace with sand between your toes!

On your beach right off shore, you can fish, snorkel, walk for miles, kayak, beach comb, go shelling, play bocce ball, body surf, paddle board or just relax in the sun! CAYO LOCO is my private custom designed/built residence and is rented on a very limited basis. CAYO LOCO is located on a secluded, romantic sandy beach road.

After a wonderful day at the beach, return to CAYO LOCO and refresh in your beautiful large glass block tiled shower with ocean view and nap on your ocean view king size pillow top bed with 100% cotton designer sheets.

Within a short walk on the beach, you have a wonderful resort for delicious dining. Within a short drive, there are several excellent restaurants, live music and dancing.

When the astronauts look down to Earth from space, the crystal clear, turquoise waters of the Bahamas can be clearly seen as nowhere else on Earth. Hut Point Bay on the Atlantic side of Governor's Harbour is a central location making it easy to get anywhere on the island to explore. Our beach is the most beautiful beach on Eleuthera where you can walk everyday and not see a single soul. Eleutherans are a very warm, helpful and welcoming people and a treasure to get to know. The Bahamas were voted one of the 'happiest' countries in the world. Fresh seafood abounds with tropical fruits as well. Eleuthera is an adventure without getting too far from the norm.

Waking up to the sunrise after sleeping to the sounds of the surf is so rejuvenating. Walking the beach shelling then swimming or just floating in the crystal clear turquoise water of Eleuthera is so special. Catching your dinner fresh from the Atlantic Ocean is splendid. Lazing in the hammock with a great read gazing over the crashing waves is very relaxing. Cayo Loco was designed to support an eco-chic lifestyle. Air conditioning is rarely needed as the ocean breezes keep you comfortable. Rain water is your water source leaving your skin and hair silky to the touch. There are abundant hand towels and cloth napkins alleviating the need for paper products. All appliances and fixtures are energy efficient and low water consumption. All glass and aluminum cans are recycled. We have chosen low impact construction and potable water is recycled. Furniture for Cayo Loco was locally handcrafted. Cayo Loco is my custom designed/built private residence and is rented out on a very limited basis.
