Absolute Perfect Retreat truly lived up to it's name! From the very start, Martha delivered on everything she said we were getting. The description of their home is spot on. This is a brand new place with all the amenities and they did not skimp on anything. The place was very clean, and everything is new. There was a propane fireplace inside the Great Room and Master Bedroom, outside there is a wood burning fireplace perfect for making S'mores. They left enough firewood for us to enjoy! On top of that, there is a Gas Grill which we used to make most of our meals. The grocery store is about 8 miles away. We found many cleaning products, paper towels, and toilet paper already at the property.
If I had one negative thing to say, the ceilings are very high and the light was dim in the living room; you can see some dead bugs got into enclosed light fixtures...that's to be expected in the country!
We spent a lot of time on the wrap around porch in rocking chairs, enclosed screened porch, and porch swing. The Master bathroom suite has a very romantic walk-in shower for two with body sprays, whirlpool tub, heated towel bar, private toilet and marble vanity. Even if you don't stay in that room, you should check it out, it's amazing! We were also there during daylight savings time, (we lost an hour) and they were generous enough to allow us a little later check-out. We are already talking about when we have time to come back. Having rented a lot of vacation homes over the years, Martha is a great person to have to deal with and makes the whole process seamless.
