You will find that the Havasu Landing, California side of the lake is a very low key friendly town where everyone knows each other. The main watering and dining hole in town is the SAIL INN, be sure to say hello to owners Vikki and Rich who are there most of the time. Great food and drinks on a budget. Cocktails are stiff and the beer is ice cold and cheap. You may want to shop for your own groceries at the Havasu Landing Market. Fresh meats and vegetables along with anything you may desire from a full operation grocery store.

When you get that urge for a night on the town, Lake Havasu City Arizona offers exceptional nightlife. Plenty of Bars, Nightclubs, Movie Theathers, Fast Food and Fine Dining Establishments within walking distance of the London Bridge. There are several Taxi companys that will take you anywhere in the city for $5.00 each way. Just in case you need to get to a Walmart, Kmart, Home Depot or Local Mall for that special something.

Guest wishing to visit the Arizona side of the lake or 'Lake Havasu City' can do so by driving around which takes about an hour or the more favored option is to ride the Chemehuevi Casino Jet Powered Ferry Boat called 'DREAMCATCHER'. This is a 15-20 minute ride across the lake to the marina directly below the Famous London Bridge. You don't pay going to the Arizona side but are charged $3.00 per person on the trip back. Ask me how to sometimes ride for free when you book our home.

Schedule for Dreamcatcher and Casino is on Arizona Time**

I have rented many places from Blythe to Bullhead and this is now my favorite location at an really awesome home. The home is everything that the pictures show, beautiful and comfortable. The pool and clubhouse are perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake. The launch ramp is never busy, even on a July 4 weekend. The local grocery store has everything that you need. The Casino has a "good breakfast" and the Sail Inn Bar is a fun place to get to know the "usuals" that call the Landing "their hang out". Being directly across the "channel" allows you to have all the fun you want without all the hassels. There is also tons of space to ride your motorcycles, Jeep or whatever. If you like The River, I recommend you experience The Landing

My wife and I spent February and March of 2011 at this wonderful home. Every thing was as good, or if not better than described in the advertisement and if anything the photographs did not do it justice. The whole property is in absolutely pristine condition and fully equipped with every conceivable item one could wish for; from luxury towels and linens, to fully equipped kitchen, to superb dining table and chairs and luxury lounge furniture and 3 large flat screen TV,s.
Vista Del Lago is a beautiful place with wonderful views across Lake havasu. It has a superb clubhouse, with a lovely swimming pool and great hot-tub. Maria and Benny the club managers are wonderfully helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them and invitations to themed parties, pot luck suppers and local events seemed never ending.
Dana and Antony (the owners) were extremely helpful, both before and during our stay and we would not hesitate to recommend their home to any of our friend and relatives, in fact we have done so on a number of occasions, already.
Although Havasu Lake by its very nature is a little isolated it is a wonderfully peaceful place with a small, but incredibly friendly local community, however if it is shopping, restaurants and hustle and bustle, that you require, then Lake Havasu City is just a short ferry ride across the lake. Further afield - Parker, Bull Head City, Oatman, Lake Mead and of course Las Vegas are all worthwhile.
Overall our holiday (English for vacation) was one of total enjoyment; with days filled with wonderful desert sun, in a beautiful home, in equally beautiful surroundings, spent with interesting and incredibly friendly people!
