Experience the luxury of this beautiful condominium at Chesapeake Lofts, located in the waterfront Paper District and 5 minutes from Cedar Point Amusement Park. Why stay at a hotel when you can stay here for less money and more beauty?

This unit was new in 2008, is on the 3rd floor and is impeccably maintained. It has one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed, and one bedroom in the loft with a convertible bed (twin on top; full on bottom.) It is ready for your vacation as all linens, towels and kitchen cookware and utensils are provided. There are 3 TV's (2 are HD), a DVD player, and the unit is wi-fi. It features lofted ceilings, an open spiral staircase, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, bamboo hardwood floor, and new furniture. (The couch and family room TV are new in 2013.) The wall of windows (with a screen door to let in the breeze, leading to the balcony which includes chairs) allows you to enjoy the glorious evening sunset, lovely swimming pool, the marina which is in process, and sparkling lake.

Chesapeake Lofts are a 3 level condominium complex with 195 units, most of which are owner occupied. It is secured 24 hours with a gated entry into the parking lot, a keyed entry into the building, and a separate key to unlock the unit. It overlooks Lake Erie and is 2 blocks from the heart of downtown Sandusky, where you can visit the shops and restaurants, visit the Maritime Museum or Merry-Go-Round Museum, or take the trolley through town. The Jet Express and Goodtime Ferry are both next door for easy access to all the islands. Bring your fishing gear, boat or jet skis and within minutes you can experience all the fun of Sandusky Bay. Play at Cedar Point or Kalahari, and stay here to avoid expensive hotel rates.

Great Location, Amenities, Cleanliness, and Owner communication

We stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The place itself was very clean and stocked with more than the typical vacation rental amenities (kitchen supplies, etc). It is in a great location on the bay within easy walking distance to the Jet Express (for trips to Kelly's Island, or Put-In-Bay) and many downtown Sandusky bars, eateries, and shops. Very convenient. The property pool and hottub is very nice. Right next to public boat launch and docks if you have a boat. Also a quick drive to cedar point, with no traffic as you are off the main roads coming in. The property manager also lives in another unit in the same complex which makes it very convenient at check in or if you need anything (we didn't). She stated that this owner was the best or her 8+ rentals she maintains. Highly recommend.

Nice place to visit even in the winter

We needed a second condo over Thanksgiving when we learned our daughter's family was coming in from Denver. We were so glad when we learned Susan's was available. My wife and I chose to stay in it (3rd floor with a lovely western sunset view), and let our daughter's family stay in the first floor condo we had rented. It was carpetted and did not have a loft, which was safer for their 4 year old. We enjoyed the quiet privacy of the 3rd floor. [and I had worked on the 3rd floor during summers in the late 1960s while in college.] The apartment has a loft, but only one relatively small bathroom, which is the only drawback if more than two in the party. The downtown has coffee shops and restaurants open even in the winter. I suggest visiting Marblehead in the winter.

Very Nice!

My Wife and I along with my 6 Year old Son stayed for 3 Nights in the Condo.
It is Very Nice!! Great Location!! The entire complex along with the parking lot is Gated.
Within a short walk for many Restaurants and Pubs.
There is a Jet Express Boat Place Right next to the Complex.
The Balcony of the Condo over looks the Nice Pool and the Lake...
.
Cedar Point is about a 10-15 min easy drive from there.

It was just what we were looking for on our long weekend trip to visit Cedar Point.
The Price was about half of what it would have cost to stay at the park.
Great Deal all around!!

This was a great place to stay while we had our family reunion. Just enough space for my husband and I and our kids. Our kid's especially loved the pool. The condo was clean and had all the necessacities needed for a great stay! Much better than staying in a hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. It was exactly as pictured and described. We had all the comforts of home. My family really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds. We closed out almost every day with a dip in the fabulous pool. The residents were very welcoming and always made us feel comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Sandusky.

The condo was a refreshing part of our vacation, it was extremely clean and very comfortable. I would also like to add that the updated and modern decor added a really nice touch; this is exactly what I am looking for when I am deciding on options. Your condo was by far the best stocked that I had every seen since I've been renting vacation properties. Thank you so very much for reading the minds of your tenants, I had everything I needed (even an ice cream scoop!!!). For all of the semi neurotic vacation planners, like myself, you can rest your minds, this is the clean, modern, kid friendly, well stocked condo that you have been looking for!

This unit is a very nice, modern and well equipped unit. The unit and the complex are very clean and well managed. The complex has a very nice pool/hot tub facility and the exercise room is top notch. The location is within walking distance to the historic part of town, the water, and several good eateries. The newer, commercial area of town and Cedar Point are a short drive away. Our family enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend this condo.

Our stay in this unit was great. The unit itself is well furnished, clean and modern. The location was convenient to the water, the historic part of town and within a short drive to the new commercialized part of town or Cedar Point. The complex has a very nice pool/hot tub area and the exercise room is well equipped. You won't regret renting this unit. The owners and on-site property manager were great to deal with as well.
