One Bedroom, One Bathroom, Living Room, Kitchen (2/3 people)

This apartment belongs to a 89 year old lady: she leaves in Rome but her family is from this little village! She still goes there few weeks every summer. The apartment peaks over the Mediterranean, in a quiet natural dream. The sound of waves follows you in the background as music, at the starting point to your walks through the hills of Portofino. The lights of Camogli, Recco, Nervi, Genova, and (on a clear evening) of Savona, are the crown of a view that includes all of the Gulf of Genova. When you feel the need to walk down to the beach, there is a private staircase which leads down from your mountain sanctuary, to the sea below.

The apartment is ideally suited for 2 people and is equipped with a living room, bathroom, kitchen with veranda and views and is located on the second floor.

Surroundings: A scenic route from your exclusive hilltop nest overlooking Portofino, can take you on the Gulf of Tigullio, bringing you to the Golf & Tennis Club of Rapallo in twenty minutes. Beautiful boat trips await you from Camogli, Santa Margherita and Rapallo as well, which are easily accessible. Typical restaurants on the sea and mountain of Portofino are at your fingertips. But especially the green and the silence of Mortola, one street that makes you disconnect from the world while not being far from the jet set of Portofino and Paraggi where one can enjoy the nightlife of the Italian Riviera.

Sports: Golf, Tennis, Scuba diving, Sailing,Trekking within twenty minutes from the apartment.

Ein traumhafter Platz fuer Ligurienferien, Wandern (von parkbreiten Wegen bis fast Klettersteig), Schwimmen, gut Essen gehen, im kleinen Laden von San Rocco einkaufen, und alles direkt ohne Anfahrt vom Haus aus. Jede Mahlzeit mit Blick auf die Bucht von Genua ist ein Ereignis. Aber auch im Schatten der Limonenbaeumchen im unteren Garten sitzt man sehr mediterran.

Kleine Schwaechen werden darüber zweitrangig: von aussen braeuchte das Haus Zuwendung, innen ist es ok (Sisalteppichboden im Wohnzimmer nicht zu genau angucken, die Sitzgruppe dadrauf ist sehr schoen). Als wir ankamen, mussten wir erstmal etwas aufraeumen.... - Gartensitzplatz ist nur ueber 3 Treppchen und nach Querung des Gaesschens (Via Mortola) zu erreichen.

Kueche: gut ausgestattet, Espressomaschine leider kaputt.

im Hang-Souterrain gibt es eine etwas dunkle untere Wohneinheit (im mittleren Stockwerk befindet sich die Dauer-Wohnung eines jungen Paars) mit einem Doppelbett und gutem Badezimmer, ohne jede Küche oder Sitzmoeglichkeit innen. Die Tür geht auf den Gartensitzplatz.

Die wunderbare Felsbadestelle von Punta Chiappa (nur für gefahrenbewusste aeltere Kinder und Schwimmer!) ist nach 30 Minuten und 200 Hoehenmetern (Rueckweg ist Sport) erreicht. Eine Stranddusche gibts nur in Porto Pidocchio (600 m).

Anfahrt zum Haus: bis auf 300 m (Kirchplatz San Rocco, bei der Ankunft wurde uns beim Tragen geholfen). Wochenendtauglicher Parkplatz (Dorf ist Sa/So gesperrt) erst in 1 km Entfernung. Zum Bahnhof Camogli sind es auch nur 30 Minuten Treppenweg, Bussystem (Santa Margherita, Portofino) ist auch gut, wir sind fast nicht Auto gefahren.

Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit der Eigentuemerfamilie, Englisch kein Problem.
