Why I Love This Property!
I have stayed at this property at least four times. I love it! The owners, greet you upon arrival. They make you feel right at home. Any problems, they are just a phone call away.
The apartment is comfortable, clean and well supplied. My husband and I like to cook, everything you need is right there. The patios are lovely and there is always a welcome breeze and of course beautiful foliage. You have cable tv on a nice flat screen, ac in the living room and online services. The property listing is quite accurate.
You are about 5 minutes from the beach, 10 mins. from Speightstown, where you can purchase groceries. There is also a great bakery in case you have a sweet tooth. The buses are nearby and this is a safe neighborhood.
Most importantly, this great property is affordable. In fact, you have to book early or otherwise it is quickly booked.
I have enjoyed this property everytime I've stayed! I would recommend this property to friends and family.

Perfect!
We stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks. It wasnt the first place we were going to book but this one was nearer to Speightstown and we definately made the right choice. Booking was soooooooo easy as we were dealing with someone based in the U.K. but if I remeber correctly, it only took 2 emails!.The agent gabriel was really nice and only a call away if we had any problems (which we didnt) The apartment isexactly as in the pictures, nothing special to look at but itwas massive, very clean and had everything you could need for a self-catering holiday, and I mean EVERYTHING - even beach towels! It is in the ideal location for beautiful quiet West coast beaches (5 minutes walk away from Heywoods/ Almond village beach),the Town and the Bus terminal. We hired a car for two of of three weeks (we got the number via renting this apartment and made a good friend with the owner Steve at the same time).
It is situated in a lovely friendly neighbourhood. This was my first time to Barbados (my partner was brought up in Speightstown as a child) but I will be back next year and we will be booking this same apartment and car again (and again and again..........)

Wonderful Family holiday
The apartment was just simply perfect. We had a wonderful family holiday there (2 adults and 2 children). It was very well and beautiful furnished and the kitchen had absolutely everything you need. It was very also very clean and having 2 shower rooms was great. The location was perfect and we even had the ice cream van passing almost every day:) Thank you so much. We hope to come back.

Value for money
We (party of 3) had a most enjoyable 2 week stay in Heywoods. The apartment which is located in a quiet residential area had ample room with a large kitchen that had pretty much everything you need for preparing meals. Although it has a small veranda an outside dining area would have enhanced our stay as we do like to eat outside when on holiday.
The shops and beach (Heywoods beach recommended) were within walking distance and there were plenty of street vendors selling fresh fruit and vegetables on the high street. The Fisherman Pub in Speightstown provides good local food at a very reasonable price. We had a rental car for travelling around the island and Bathsheba was one of our favourite spots.
We would recommend this property would certainly like to return to Holders Hey.

AMAZING place, FANTASTIC owner
We rented this place from the owner Paul. Arranging the rental was very easy, we paid the deposit and the remainder of the payment using paypal. We were 5 friends coming to Barbados to do spearfishing and diving. The place is about 1-1:30 from the airport. If you are arrive before 11pm, you can take the bus straight into town for 1USD. If you miss the bus, then its 45$ for a cab. The place is tucked away from the main street which makes it quiet. Its only about 7 min walk to the beach, and about 10 min walk to town where you can find groceries, restaurants, etc. You probably wont need a car since the place is close to a major bus station. Diving from the beach close to the place was pretty good, fishing was good too, but bring a dive flag as there are many boats. The place itself was spotless and exactly as described. Paul was very approachable and was a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly rent from him again. Thanks so much Paul

Great apartment for a family vacation
While the apartment is not posh, it was more than adequate for comfortable stay for a family of 4 with kids aged 4 and 14. During our stay, the temperature was not too hot, so we had no use for A/C.
The owners were friendly and accommodating. Since we were arriving very late at night, we inquired if it is possible to provide us with light dinner; we got it and were very happy with it.
The apartment is located in a nice residential area fairly close to a gorgeous beach and a town, so there was no real need to get a car.
Still, I would highly recommend renting a car for at least a couple of days, as it allows accessing the rest the gorgeous islands. We rented a car from Steve (whose contact is provided in the property listing) and were very satisfied with the experience as well, especially given that finding a car from agency was fairly difficult during the high season.
The bottom-line: we were very satisfied with both Barbados in general and our rental in particular, and will definitely try to come back again.

A Home From Home
The property was as describe on web site. We were a faimly of 6. It was clean and well maintained. The house had every thing we needed and more. When there was a problem, some one came around within a few hours and the problem was fix.
The air conditioning was a great help when we return for a day out.
The Boys keep up to date with all the football matches.
We walk to the local beach, Port St. Charles daily. We made friends with some of the residents of the street and people working on the beach. Everyone was very friendly. Public transport is only a short distance from the house and very frequent. You can get too anywhere.
There is Speightown with some shops, banks, a fresh bakery and also the Fisherman Pub. On Wednesday night, the place is lively.
We were very happy here and have recommended this property to others already.

A family holiday in paradise
I rented this property for my family of four. The property was adequate for our needs. The island was really hot but the air condtioning in the house made a huge difference. All of the bedrooms were a good size and bedding and towels were provided. My teenage children enjoyed the satellite channels which were available
The house is within a reasonable walking distance to the beach which we were tempted to visit daily.
The locals in Barbados are extremely friendly and make you feel really welcome. The nearest town to the house is within a short walking distance and has several banks, a large supermarket which delivers your shopping if you wish. We found a great pub/restaurant, (Fishermans Pub) which made a fantastic choice of meals and had really friendly staff. There was plenty of public transport a short walk away from the house at very reasonable prices.
We would recommend this house to others who chose to visit Barbados and would definitely rent this home again.

Great value for money
This is a great value for money rental. Situated in a residential area about 5-10 mins from Speightstown, the neighbours are freindly and helpful and the property has pretty much all you will need. There is a lovely beach at Port St Charles which is nearby and Speightstown itself has a number of shops including Jordans Supermaket where you can buy pretty much everything. The Fishermans Pub in Speightstown serves food and drink at reasonable prices. The bus stop is only about 5 mins away and it only cost $1.50 wherever you go on the island.
