An apartment with a terrace on the waterfront, right next to the main square of Santa Tecla. From the terrace you can admire a sweeping view over the bay of the small fishing village called Santa Tecla, its square and the sea. Right next to the house are stairs to the shores of lava rock. When you plunge into the sea in front of the house, it feels as though you are diving straight into a salt-water pool. Casa Maestrale is located on the ‘Lemon Riviera', the coast between Catania and Taormina, so-called due to the infinite number of lemon groves found at the foot of the volcano Etna. In summer Santa Tecla is a seaside destination for the islanders who enjoy the pebbled beach that distances only 400 metres from the house. Santa Tecla has a small port, a village square at the seaside with an ice-cream shop, a bar, various pizzerias and two excellent seafood restaurants. For example the renamed and affordable seafood restaurant 'La Bettola dei Marinai', only 50 meters from the house.
The apartment is on the first floor and consists of a double room with sea view, a bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet, a living room with fireplace, a widescreen TV and a double sofa bed, a spacious kitchen with oven and dining table. The terrace offers a spectacular view of the bay of Santa Tecla and is ideal for outdoor eating, and aperitifs as you watch the sun setting over the village or enjoy the sunrise from the sea in the morning.
