for 10 people, quiet place, close to the old center of St Remy de Provence

Very nice villa air-conditioned of 240sqm, located in a very quiet place close to the center of the village, nice garden of 3000 sqm with a lot of flowers, securied pool and 10 long sunbeds, covered tarasse of 40 sqm with an outside kitchen, a BBQ, table, 4 bedrooms, 4 ensuite bathrooms, nice living room with a chimney and a big TV, inside kitchen well equipped : US fridge, oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, fast boradband internet access wifi.

4 bedroom - 4bathroom Executive Villa with Large Pool and Garden in Saint Remy de Provence

This villa is part of a two villas large property with enclosed garden and security access.

Very close to the old center of Saint Remy de Provence, at the end of a private road, you enter the property through a large gate giving access to 2 separate villas.

This recently built and tastefully decorated villa accommodates up to 10 people.

The layout is as follows :

Ground Floor :

The house distributes a large living room (63 sqm) and dining area, a fully equipped eat-in-kitchen. There is a bedroom on this floor.

The living room has two sets of French windows opening onto the garden and looking onto the pool. There is a fireplace, two large sofas, some armchairs, as well as a TV, and a stereo system with CD player.

The dining area is furnished with an oval dining table seating 8.

The open and separate kitchen is separated from the kitchen by an eating counter, it is fully equipped : an oven, four electric induction hotplates, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, a American fridge and a dishwasher. A windows looks onto the garden. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with a washing machine.

The first bedroom is on the western part of the house. It has a south exposed French window opening onto the garden , a double size bed, a dresser and a chest of drawers.

There is an en-suite stall shower bathroom with toilet.

First French Floor :

On the upper floor are three more bedrooms :

The first bedroom to the right is furnished with 3 single beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. There is an en-suite bathroom with a double washbasin, a stall shower and a toilet.

The second bedroom is also furnished with 3 single beds with bedside tables. There is an en-suite stall shower with a washbasin and a toilet.

The third bedroom has a double bed, a baby bed, a dresser and a large built in closet. There is a bathroom with a tub and separate stall shower and a toilet.

Each bedroom on this floor has a window facing south and opening onto the garden.

Outside :

A fully equipped summer kitchen is available off the kitchen and the living room, under the large paved and shaded terrace with garden furniture.

It is equipped with a BBQ, 4 gas burners and a sink.

The landscaped garden is planted with trees (olive, palm…) and lawn.

The large swimming pool (10Mx5 M) is surrounded by lawn.

You access the property through a private lane. At the rear of the house are enough parking spaces for several cars. There is also a garage for 2 cars.

The house is situated down the mountain range called ‘Alpilles’; 30 minutes south of the city of Avignon, and less than five minutes drive from the famous village of Saint-Rémy de Provence.

Within their surroundings, the Alpilles chain of mountains forms both a striking and a harmonious picture. This area is the ‘Provence of the Rhone’ and has a strong Roman heritage. It is also the landscape of famous painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne and Matisse who came here to capture the extraordinary light and color of the region.

It is also rich agricultural area with rolling plains of fruit orchards, olives groves and all variety of Mediterranean vegetables. It is alive with the sound of chirping 'cigales' and the intoxicating aromas of multitude of wild herbs... This area is the ‘Provence of the Rhone’ and has a strong Roman heritage. The famous ruins of Glanum -an archeological site from the first century BC- are nearby.

The closest highway is the A7 (exit Cavaillon) 20 minutes drive away, which goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France.

The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse, i.e. high speed train) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes!

The closest airport is Avignon as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

We returned to Paris early this morning.
I must say that we enjoyed our stay thoroughly in your home.
