Perfect for Two
My wife and I (in our mid 20's) stayed in the smaller studio apartment for a week. This was all we needed for our stay in Iceland. The listing is as exactly as it is described; nothing more, nothing less. The couch folded out easily and made room for a double bed. The kitchen had all the utensils and more for making a meal in your suite. And with a grocery store right down the street, we were able to make several meals to keep our costs down.
Customer service was great. Kolla provided as with the details we needed and was hospitable when we needed questions answered. We were never bothered or inconvenienced.
For those wanting to stay in the center of downtown, this is not the apartment for you. Although we had a rental vehicle for the week, it was a short 10 minute drive into town for a classic Icelandic hot dog. In fact, with where we stayed, we were able to save so much more money for the important things on our trip like travelling the island. Staying in a hotel downtown would have been three times the price of a stay here. In a single day we were able to see Gullfoss and Geysir and still be back in Reykjavik for dinner. Another day we were able to cruise down to the Blue Lagoon for a few hours and explore the city later that night and afternoon. Overall, staying here was a wonderful decision and when we come back, we hope to stay here again. I would recommend it to anyone looking to save money and explore the West and South parts of Iceland.
