Set in a small and exclusive gated complex, with its own sizable private garden, the apartment is located only 50 metres from the Playa/Cala del Moro twin beaches. This stunning ground floor garden apartment offers a large private garden area with large terrace, ideal for eating and enjoying the balmy evenings, and also communal pool and gardens. Local restaurants/bars, supermarket and cash point are just a minute away. Close by there is a scenic beachfront wooden walkway to Alcossebre town. The fully air-conditioned interior has a master bedroom with king-sized bed and en-suite shower room. There is a second twin bedroom and a separate shower room. The sizable living/dining room is tiled and has TV and DVD/CD/Radio entertainment system. A luxury fitted kitchen features granite worktops, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dish washer, kettle, toaster and iron. Parking is within a large, secure individual private garage in the gated underground parking area.

Alcossebre is a small seaside town in the Valencian Community located just north of the city of Castellon between Barcelona and Valencia. It is on the Costa del Azahar (the Orange Blossom Coast) along the eastern Mediterranean coast of Spain in the province of Castellón. Along with close neighbouring Capicorb (Cap i Corp) just to the south and Las Fuentes just to the north, this town falls within the municipal limits of Alcala de Xivert. There is also easy access to the larger towns of Peniscola to the north and Torreblanca to the south - both around 15 minutes away by car.

Alcossebre is a popular tourist destination for the Spanish population and, unlike many other Spanish coastal towns, is unspoiled by very large or high rise buildings and the excesses of uncontrolled tourism. This small coastal town is located at the southern end of the Serra d'Irta National Park, with ten kilometres of coastline featuring high quality EC Blue Flag listed beaches and a variety of other unspoiled sandy beaches and rocky coves. There are four main Blue flag quality accredited beaches: Playa Carregador, Playa Romana, Playa Del Moro and Playa Tropicana, the latter shared with Capicorb. There are also three coves: Tres Playas, a set of three rocky bays separated by rocky formations, Cala del Moro (our favourite beach which is secluded even in August), which is separated from the beach with the same name, Playa del Moro, by a small dune and finally the Cala Blanca which is located near the lighthouse. The nearest of these beaches to the apartment, the twin beaches of Cala del Moro (a quiet shingle cove) and Playa del Moro (a popular sandy beach), are less than a minute's walk and just 50 metres from the apartment, with Playa Romana and Tres Playas also a short walk away within 200 metres of the apartment.

Alcossebre has a unique and very scenic palm-fringed pathway and wooden boardwalk (Camino De Atall) which carries pedestrians over the protected dunes and along the edge of the beaches into the town, with a variety of bars and restaurants to stop at on the way.

Pedallos, canoes, sailing boats, beach chairs and parasols are all available for hire at the local beaches. Playa Romana is also equipped with beach volleyball, beach football and beach rugby facilities.

The Columbretes Islands lie far off the coast, can be seen in the distance in clear weather and can be visited by boat. The islands are teaming with marine life and ideal for diving - see www.barracudabuceo.com.

Not only is the local beach within a 1 minute walk of the apartment, but also the local supermarket, cash point and nearest local restaurants and bars are similarly close by.

In the town there is an English speaking GP, dentists, pharmacies and clinic. There are also Internet cafes, DVD hire shop and the usual selection of shops and supermarkets.

Alcossebre has many restaurants and bars, mainly traditional and modern Spanish, but with just a sprinkling of French, Italian, Chinese and English.

There is a new lawn bowling club on outskirts of Alcossebre and there are a number of tennis clubs in Alcossebre with the nearest only 5 minutes walk away from the apartment with courts for hire.

Bicycles and pedal cars are available for hire at Las Fuentas beach.

The average annual temperature in Alcossebre is 16°C and in the warmest months the average temperature is 30°C. The annual rainfall is also lower than the average rainfall of Spain.

There are 3 Excellent Golf Courses on the Costa Del Azahar and a Fourth Under Construction. There are two professional standard golf courses within 30-40 mins drive of Alcossebre. Nova Panoramica (www.panoramicagolf.com) in Vieros is an excellent 18 hole Bernhard Langer designed course in with a large driving range. Club de Campo del Mediterraneo, near Castellón, also features 18 holes and is the home course of Sergio Garcia and is only a 30 minute drive away. Costa Azahar Golf is a 9 hole course in El Graut/Castellón and is about 25 minutes drive from Alcossebre. Doña Blanca Golf is currently under construction 6km away in Torrenostra, Torreblanca and it will be just a 10 minute drive from the apartment.

For cycling enthusiasts, there are good easy roads for cycling both inland and coastal.

There are ample facilities in the apartment's large basement garage for secure storage of golf clubs, bicycles and other sports equipment.

Guided walks are usually available except July/August when it is too hot - ask at tourist office.

Morella is a beautiful medieval walled town well worth a visit by car.

Nearby Alcala de Xivert is a quaint town with a newly restored bell tower and impressive church. It holds a weekly market and can be reached by local bus from Alcossebre or is just a 10 minute drive away.

Peniscola with walled castle, cobbled streets, many small restaurants and attractive beach is 20 minutes by car.

Benicassim Aquarama water park is 20 minutes by car. Go-karting is available close to Alcossebre at Vinaros, Orpesa and Benicassim.

Universal Studio's Port Aventura, one of Europe's biggest theme parks is just a 1 hour drive away.

The historic cities of Castellon, Valencia and Barcelona are well worth a visit and are all accessible by car within 1-2 hours drive from Alcossebre.

The nearest Airports are Reus and Valencia with two further airports slightly further afield at Barcelona and Alicante. All are serviced from many airports in the UK and mainland Europe. In 2012 a new airport is due to become operational at Castellon which has a direct link road to Alcossebre making it only a 15 minute drive away.

Valencia airport is about 1 hour drive south of Alcossebre along the AP-7 / E-15 motorway and is serviced by: Ryanair flying from Stansted, East Midlands and Dublin; Thomson Fly from Coventry and Bournemouth; Easyjet from Stansted, Gatwick and Bristol; Jet2 from Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle; Iberia from Heathrow.

Reus airport is a about 1¼ hours drive to the north of Alcossebre along the AP-7 / E-15 motorway and serviced by: Ryanair flying from Stansted, Luton, Liverpool, Glasgow and Dublin; Thomson Fly from Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Belfast.

Barcelona airport is about 2¼ hours drive to the north of Alcossebre along the AP-7 / E-15 motorway and is serviced by: Easyjet from Luton, Gatwick, Bristol, Liverpool and Newcastle; BA from Heathrow and Gatwick.

Alicante airport is about 2½ hours drive south of Alcossebre along the AP-7 / E-15 motorway and is serviced by: Ryanair flying from Stansted, Liverpool and Dublin; Thomson Fly from most major UK airports; Easyjet from most major UK airports; Jet2 from Manchester, Leeds and Blackpool; Iberia from Heathrow.

Car hire is recommended and is available from several companies at the airports and can be booked very reasonably through Auto Europe (www.auto-europe.co.uk/index.cfm?aff=cyprussunrise).

We purchased this apartment as we love the area, having visited year after year. Garden apartments are very rare to find and we fell in love with this as soon as we saw it. Together with our family and friends we visit it regularly for our holidays.

Included in the price is cleaning and preparing the home before your arrival and cleaning after you leave. Also supplied with fresh linen and towels on arrival. For stays of 3 weeks or more, we also provide replacement clean bed linen and towels every 2 weeks during your stay.

Prior to your visit you will be provided with a full welcome information pack and we are always available by email or phone to answers your questions quickly and fully.

The apartment is thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival and you will be supplied with fresh bed linen and bath towels for your stay.

On arrival in Spain our British run Local Property Managers, with all native English-speaking representatives, will be available just a phone call away to answer any questions and ensure that your transfer from the airport to the apartment is all taken care of for you.

Our optional Airport Pick up service will meet you at the airport and you will be transported directly to the apartment for handover of keys and to be shown around the apartment and complex. A local charge applies for this service equivalent to the cost of the taxi or minibus.

We stayed at Spanish Sunrise in September 2013, after having a few days in Barcelona first. Directions to the apartment were superb, better than the sat-nav! The location is really great being so near two beaches within a 2 minute walk. Great having a small supermarket just round the corner for getting warm bread in the morning! The beaches are really clean and the sea really gentle which was great for building the confidence of our almost 4 year old son. The patio and garden are lovely and a really nice area for evening drinks or eating outside, although we went out to eat more than we cooked! The apartment is really clean and very comfortable. The kitchen in particular is really well equipped and the whole apartments has good quality furniture. Great having an underground garage so that the car is nice and cool when you get into it, although to be honest we only went out once. Alcossebre itself is a lovely town with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance along the boardwalk or a 5 minute drive. Fantastic ice cream parlour on the front. The weather was fabulous but, even if it wasn't, the apartment is such a good size that spending time indoors wouldn't be a problem. There is a great secure area outside the front door, which means that you can unpack after the beach there and not get sand all over the apartment which with a youngster with associated buckets spades, toys etc was a real plus point for us.

We only used the pool once as had no need to, given how close the beaches are, but it’s a decent size pool and good if you want to do some lengths.

Would recommend apartment, communication with owners was fast and really efficient and managers in Spain were very friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic time, thank you. Your apartment was lovely, weather was great, and we love Alcossebre! We wrote some nice comments in the visitor book, and the only feedback I can think to add is that the apartment was perfect for us, it was clean, the pool was nice, we had everything we needed. The location was perfect too, as it is near the beaches yet a pleasant walk into town. Hope to visit again one day!

Hemos escrito algunos comentarios agradables en el libro de visitantes, y la única respuesta que se me ocurre para agregar es que el apartamento era perfecto para nosotros, que estaba limpia, la piscina era agradable, nos dieron todo lo que necesitábamos. La ubicación era perfecta, ya que está cerca de las playas todavía un agradable paseo por la ciudad. Espero volver algún día!

We had a great time thank you and we thoroughly enjoyed your apartment. Tony showed us the garage but the street wasn't busy so we left the car there. All of the annotations around the apartment were really useful and the instructions to help is find the place were easy to follow. (We stayed in 3 places on our trip and this is the only one we found straight away!).

We cooked a couple of times (nothing too taxing) and your kitchen was really well equipped and it was lovely to eat out on the patio. We tried the Internet and it worked well from the door as you said, which was fine for us - we managed to use FaceTime on the ipad to talk with our daughter on her birthday. Other than that we used wifi in restaurants around the town to download the newspaper.

Nos lo pasamos muy bien gracias y disfrutamos de su apartamento. Tony nos mostró el garaje, pero la calle no estaba lleno, así que dejamos el coche allí. Todas las anotaciones de todo el apartamento eran realmente útiles y las instrucciones para ayudar es encontrar el lugar era fácil de seguir. (Nos alojamos en 3 lugares en nuestro viaje y este es el único que nos encontramos ahora mismo!).

Cocinamos un par de veces (nada demasiado exigente) y la cocina estaba muy bien equipada y era precioso para comer en el patio. Probamos el Internet y ha funcionado bien desde la puerta, como usted ha dicho, que estaba bien para nosotros - nos las arreglamos para usar FaceTime en el iPad para hablar con nuestra hija en su cumpleaños. Aparte de eso utilizamos wifi en los restaurantes alrededor de la ciudad para descargar el periódico.

Usted tiene un lugar estupendo!

“We had a great holiday in Alcossebre. We already knew the town as it is our third stay, but the benefits of your apartment really made the difference. We greatly appreciate the decor, cleanliness, space and comfort (2 bathrooms, a large kitchen ..) which was consistent with the description and the little extras that have been helpful (chairs and umbrellas for the beach the patio to store beach stuff ..). This is a beautiful home very close to the sea, quiet with little traffic on the streets and no noisy neighbours. This is an address that we keep it safe.”

"Hemos tenido unas buenas vacaciones en Alcossebre. Ya sabíamos de la ciudad, ya que es nuestra tercera estancia, el objetivo de los beneficios de su apartamento que realmente hizo la diferencia. Apreciamos mucho la decoración, la limpieza, el espacio y el confort (2 baños, una cocina grande ..) Todos los que se componen con la descripción y los pequeños detalles que han sido útiles (sillas y sombrillas para la playa, la playa de patio para almacenar cosas .. ). Esta es una hermosa casa muy cerca del mar, tranquila, con poco tráfico en las calles y no hay vecinos ruidosos. Esta es una dirección que vamos a seguir."

"Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à Alcossebre. Nous savions déjà que la ville car il s'agit de notre troisième séjour, mais les avantages de votre appartement vraiment fait la différence. Nous apprécions grandement le décor, la propreté, l'espace et le confort (2 salles de bain, une grande cuisine ..) qui était conforme à la description et les petits extras qui ont été utiles (des chaises et des parasols pour la plage la plage cour pour stocker des choses .. ). C'est une belle maison très proche de la mer, au calme avec peu de circulation sur les rues et pas de voisins bruyants. C'est une adresse que nous allons continuer."

Great Location / Excelente Ubicación

We had a good time at Spanish Sunrise, the apartment is in a great location (with such close proximity to beach, supermarket and a few restaurants) and the corner plot garden was much appreciated. We did have a great holiday and would recommend the apartment and the area to friends and relatives.

As to the local area we would definitely recommend a visit to Morella, and we also highly recommend a tapas bar called La Maya on the sea front in the town centre, and for any one with kids the water park in Benicasim. We really liked the local area and are considering buying an apartment there ourselves at some time in the future.

Nos lo pasamos muy bien en el Sunrise española, el apartamento está en una excelente ubicación (a tan cerca de la playa, supermercado y algunos restaurantes) y el jardín parcela de esquina fue muy apreciado. Tuvimos unas vacaciones estupendas y recomendaría el apartamento y la zona a amigos y familiares.

En cuanto a la zona, sin duda recomendaría una visita a Morella, y recomendamos encarecidamente un bar de tapas llamado La Maya en el paseo marítimo en el centro de la ciudad, y para cualquiera con niños el parque acuático de Benicasim. Nos gustó mucho la zona y está pensando en comprar un apartamento allí nosotros mismos en algún momento en el futuro.
