Had a relaxing and very comfortable stay at this large, spacious, modern and well equipped home situated in a nice upclass residential area. The owners were very nice, accommodating and helpful with useful information about the island including interesting places to visit. The beautiful West Coast beaches are a mere 10 min. drive and Bridgetown and the South Coast also approx. 10 mins away. I would have no hesitation recommending this house and would definitely stay there again.

The villa was wonderful!!! Everything was as described on the website. Rae and Catherine are wonderful hosts. We liked the location it is pretty central to most everywhere. The pool was a little cold but mostly because we were out all day and did not get back to the villa till later in the evening. Loved the hammock!!!!! The only downfall is that we had to leave. Rae and Catherine thanks for the rum punch. Hopefully we will see you next year unless the group grows.You will need a vehicle to get around in. We loved the Boatyard its a great place to swim eat and drink. Accra beach is also great. There are many great things to see and do in barbados. This was our 4th trip as a group and we discovered more places to go this year than last year. Great vacation, great island, great friends, great weather,

We spent a wonderful couple of weeks in Wind Song. The villa is perfectly located, ideal for the beautiful beaches of St James and also the cute town of Holetown with all the amazing restaurants and shopping too!

The owners did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation, plenty of space and good facilities.

This villa was fantastic, it had lots of space plenty for a big party of people. It was clean and had all the utensils and equipment you could possibly want in a rental property. perfect for having people over and entertaining while away or just for chilling out and having a place to do that.

My only slight criticism would be the size of the pool was disappointing. However for the amount of time we were actually around the villa it wasnt a problem as we spent most of our time out and about or at the beach.

You definately need to hire a car when staying at this villa. Its a lovely, safe location, however nothing is easy to get to on foot with the heat.

The family who own the villa definately made our holiday run so much smoother by being so accomodating. They couldnt have helped us more, with a pick up from the airport, assisting in changing money up, running us to the local supermarket, and even booking hair dressers appointment for a wedding we were attending.
This made the holiday even more special and easy so thank you so much Ray and Catherine. xxx

This property has everything you could wish for in a holiday home. A fully furnished villa with all the luxuries you could want and like moving into your own home. The villa has enough space for 8 and more than enough for our party of 6. A car is a must for getting around and this can be hired from the owners who could not have been more helpful. Both Catherine and Rae did as much as they could to make our stay memorable being that we were in Barbados for a wedding. In fact Catherine stood in for the hairdresser who let us down on the day of the wedding and did a great job on the ladies, thanks Catherine. Would defiantly go back there again.

I travel quite extensively around the world and stay at any number of villas or on chartered boats and one thing I always look for when renting is being introduced to the property by someone who knows it inside and out and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. This was the case when I arrived at "Windsong", first I was picked up at the airport, greeted with a handshake by Rae, and I was whisked off to the villa. There I met Catherine the owner along with her husband Rae who had picked me up at the airport. I got a wonderful introduction to the villa along with some great "rum punch" made by Catherine, I was also pleasantly surprised that they had put in place some starter food items, which was a help as I did not have my bearings enough to venture out the first night even though I have traveled to Barbados on numerous occasions. That said the villa is ideally located in a quite area on a hill top (lots of breezes no need for air conditioning although its there if you want it), It is easy to get to the beaches by driving down the road in front of the villa and winding your way down to the beach which was no more than about 10 minutes. We often went to the beach right along side Sandy Lane hotel what a beautiful place with of all things a shower to rinse off that sand after a day at the beach.
The villa was well equipped and secure and if you are the kitchen type you have everything you possible need to prepare the fancies of meals or just a quick bite to eat. The villa was comfortable and the layout made everything assessable. My favorite item was the barbecue which was out by the plunge pool near the outdoor bar. I used it extensively both the barbecue and the outdoor bar. There was not a day that I did not think to myself, why leave lets just stay at the villa, which we did on a few occasions. When my plans have me returning to Barbados I will be sending Catherine an e-mail checking on the availability of "Windsong" that is for sure. I loved the villa and so did my guest who came in from Scotland. You cannot go wrong when renting "Windsong" Catherine and Rae make even more special.

I would definitely recommend this "home" to a family or group who wants a relaxing, spacious and cost conscious alternative to hotels. It was perfect for entertaining with an amazingly well equipped kitchen.
The surroundings really provided a safe and tranquil setting. The pool although small was perfect for cooling off. I particularly liked the water feature which added to the relaxing setting.
Short drive to many of Barbados amazing beaches, shopping, spas, restaurants. For maximum freedom I would suggest rental car which was offered, if you are familiar with driving on left side of the road. We opted for arranging driver with a van who was professional, reliable and reasonable for our extended family. We provided our itinerary to Leroy and it truly complimented our stay at the Wind Song. Many of the tours also provide free transportation.
Having local cell phones to use also was very helpful.
Use of washer, dryer also very convenient.
Catherine, Rae and Manty (who picked us up) really went out of their way to be helpful.
All in all, thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wind Song.

We stayed at this fabulous villa for one week with our family. It is a great location for beaches and restaurants on the West Coast. We dined at Opa and The Lemongrass at Limegrove Lifestyle Centre a few times. Both were very relaxed with great food. The villa being only a 10-15 min drive away. I would recommend both.

I have to admit we got pretty lazy and enjoyed relaxing by the pool on a few days. It was so easy just to pull out the book and crank up the BBQ.

The villa is totally equipped with everything you may need. A great break away from home.
