Beautifully decorated and continuously updated, we pride ourselves in our customers' glowing comments. Our guest bath looks like a master bath, travertine floors in main living areas and guest bath add that feel of luxury. Tiled floors, island style furnishings and art enhance the Hawaianna feeling. High speed DSL internet is provided for your convenience to keep in touch with the outside world while you are in paradise! This luxurious, first-floor Condominium is next to the pool and barbecue area and is steps to the elevator to under-ground parking, where a dedicated parking space is available for renters' use. This is a Non-Smoking unit, but ashtrays are available if you must smoke outside in designated areas.

Located just off Alii drive, this condo is walking distance to Kailua Village and is just steps away to the beach, shopping and a variety of restaurants, including Outback and Hard Rock Cafe, to name a few. Across the street, the Royal Kona Resort has several luau's each week.Great snorkeling beaches are on Alii Drive, just a short trip down this scenic drive.

Take the ice chest and beach chairs we provide to add to your trip to the beach or a drive around the island. See the volcano-just 95 miles south of Kailua-Kona. Go deep-sea fishing and cook your catch! We hope you love it as much as we do! JUST 15 MINUTES TO KONA AIRPORT!

Last minute specials occur during gap times-watch for them! Low season minimum is three nights. High season min. is seven nights.Cancellations must occur 30 days or more prior to to your arrival date to obtain a full refund. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival date, your deposit is forfeited unless we are able to re-rent the unit for your dates. There will be a $50 service fee if we can re-rent the unit as specified.Extra person (over 3) fees apply per day/week. Late checkout fee is 1/2 daily rate plus taxes.

About Jackie

We are both native southern Californians, so the ocean has always been a part of our lives. Jackie worked in Honolulu for 6 months at age 25 and when we traveled to Kona with Jackie's family and our sons in 1993, we fell in love with the Big Island and swore we would live here someday. Influenced by our local friends who own a fishing charter business, Bill studied for and became a licensed USCG captain. Although he can only help out when we are here on vacation, Bill started guiding in Southern California lakes and local ocean areas 2 years ago. Our dream would be to have our own charter boat in Kona, but going out with our friends here is the next best thing. Jackie is a CPA and since she has her own business and uses technology to connect to her staff and clients, she is literally free to travel. So, we added DSL and a desk to the condo to accommodate our needs and our guests also benefit! We take pride in making our condo better than a 5 star hotel (if your remove room service). Why Jackie chose Kailua Kona

Over the 9 years from our first visit here, we made friends with many local people who run the various businesses you see and use. They told us their stories and why and when they made the move. They gave us valuable information about the cost of living and the offsetting benefits. That is the beauty of the islands which is reflected in the aloha spirit. We spent many a vacation here pooring over the Homes for Sale pamphlets you see at many stands and even had an agent or 2 take us around to see homes. We kept logs and pictures and compared prices and what type of property would fit our needs. Once we decided it would be best to do a vacation rental, we felt it would be easier to maintain and rent if we bought a condo. We chose Kona Pacific for its location, it's concrete construction (quiet) and it has a wonderful management group and is well maintained overall. It had been recently remodeled and even new appliances, all we needed to do was furnish it. Over the years, we removed the carpet and it is now tiled throughout. We updated the bathrooms, kitchen, air conditioners, etc., etc. All a labor of love.

What makes this condo unique

We have it all! Clean freaks will rejoice at our painstaking efforts to make you feel comfortable. As a returning guest recently wrote us, she commented that she loves our lanai and ..'I also sat out there and read in the evening when I had been in the sun all

day and needed some cool shade. I could hear and talk to the boys in the pool at the

same time and let them know when dinner was ready. It also is a good way of advertising

it as another 'room' in the condo- I notice that a lot on VRBO and Homeaway, big comfy outdoor furniture....We wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!! Love it! '.

I would highly recommend this condo for your Kona vacations. Great location, being right next to the pool was fantastic, and there were so many little extras that made it feel like home away from home. Was so great to get back to Kona after several years and still have the same feeling of being at peace. The condos locations made it perfect to stroll down to the village every day and the sunsets - wow!!!

My husband and I stayed in this condo last year for 3 months - yes, we are snowbirds trying to get away from midwestern winters. There was no question about where to stay this year! We returned here because it is undoubtedly a wonderful place to stay. Upon arrival, the condo is as clean as a whistle. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a cook needs. And roomy too! I love the island which gives much needed counter space. The living room is beautiful with many lovely features. Nice couch and recliner, beautiful table and chairs, great t.v. The bedroom is HUGE! The king sized bed is wonderful. We love having an extra t.v. in the bedroom. And the two bathrooms is an added plus. Upon arrival it is nice to find shampoo, bath soap, laundry detergent, etc. in the pantry. The pool and grill area are located right outside this unit - couldn't be in a better location. One of the greatest things about this condo is the owners are great to work with. Any problems - they are a mouse-click or phone call away from fixing it. I would recommend this unit to anyone staying for just a few days or an extended stay. It is simply great! And we love it!

All of the work and detail you've put into this place has made it a home-away-from-home.We've been all over the whole island and we're sure that Kona is the place to be!
Out favorite things to do were snorkeling in the huge "aquarium" that encircles the island, and surfing lessons with my brother. He gives lessons at "Kona Surf Conpany" and I Strongly recommend riding some waves while you're here.....ask for Logan.

I love this "home away from home". It has everything~ and I mean everything for our vacation to be wonderful. I have 4 children ages 1-14 and they all had the comforts of home here! Can't wait to go back! The owners were wonderful to work with and I love the direction book in the home....it gives all the information you would ever need about everything!

You set the bar high for the other VRBO Owners on our recently completed 3 week adventure in Hawaii. Right from the time we walked into the unit to the time we left, we were happy with EVERY aspect of our stay. The unit has been updated and modernized (friends stayed in on at the same complex that has not been updated and were quite dissappointed with theirs). You have thought of every amenitie and have ensured that anything that your guests require is there.

We have nothing but GREAT things to say and you can be assured that the next time we head to Kona to visit our friends, we'll be looking to see if your Hawaii Home is available.

This is our 4the stay over the years in this lovely condo. It is comfortable for both my 23 year old grandson as is it for me, his grandmother. We really enjoyed the extras you added for the beach and we both enjoyed the fins and snorkeling gear, not to mention the nice beach chairs and ice chest. Loved your travel tips and did as much as we could in 10 days. Thank you for all the extras in the condo making it so very comfortable--you certainly thought of everything. THANKS FOR LETTING US RENT YOUR CONDO FOR THE DAYS WE WERE THERE. IT WAS GREAT AND YOUR CONDO IS VERY NICE AND WELL ORGANIZED AND WELL STOCKED AND THE DECORATING IS IMPRESSIVE. JUST LIKE HOME! I REPLACED WHAT WE USED, IE, PAPER TOWELS, TOILET PAPER, TRASH BAGS, ETC LIKE YOU ASKED, PLUS LEFT A FEW EXTRAS I BOUGHT AND HADN'T REALIZED YOU HAD THERE - LIKE COFFEE FILTERS, SALT/PEPPER.

ALL THE BEDSHEETS AND TOWELS WE USED WERE WASHED AND REPLACED.

Hi Jackie,
This letter is way overdue, but I wanted to let you know how much we absolutely loved staying at your condo in Kona. It was everything you promised it would be. Your information on sightseeing etc. was very helpful and I think we did it all in the one short week we had.
If we are ever able to visit Hawaii again, we would love to stay at your place if you are still renting it. We have recommended you to several people who are thinking of visiting Kona, so who knows, they may be calling.
