Nestling in the Algrave countryside just 5 minutes drive from the historic town of Silves, this modern single-storey 3/4 bedroom detached villa with air conditioning is set in it's own fully enclosed mature garden with private gated South-facing pool for all day sunbathing and panoramic countryside view.

The villa consists of large airy lounge, fitted kitchen / breakfast room, utility room, 3 bedrooms in th emain house - 1 with ensuite shower room, family shower room, PLUS a 4th bedroom with en-suite in the air conditioned chalet annexe.

Inside, the pristine lounge has a comfy sofa and armchairs, air conditioning, (heating in Winter) TV/DVD player and an open log fire. There is a large selection of holiday reading with books in English, German and French, plus some games. The well-equipped and immaculately clean kitchen is fully fitted with modern units and every conceivable utensil, air conditioning/heating, electric oven, hob and extractor, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc. Dining area with extendible dining table and chairs. BEDROOM 1 is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, air conditioning/heating and en-suite shower room which is spotlessly clean. BEDROOM 2 is a twin bedroom with air conditioning/heating, overlooking the garden. BEDROOM 3 is a twin bedroom with air conditioning/heating. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the family bathroom, all of which are, again, spotlessly clean. BEDROOM 4, a twin bedded room with fitted wardrobes, air conditioning/heating and en-suite shower room, is located in the Chalet Annexe.

Outside the villa there is a south facing sun terrace for all-day sunbathing with panoramic views of the Algarve countryside. Outside on the terrace there is a large table, seating and barbecue, ideal for al fresco dining and the area can be lit at night. There is a private swimming pool, gated for toddler safety and illuminated at night, surrounded by a terrace with several sun loungers, side tables and parasol, you can sit in the reclining terrace chairs and sip your favourite tipple while enjoying the view.... The villa's gardens are fully enclosed. Guests frequently comment that the villa is much larger than it appears in the photos.

Great villa

We had a great stay here. The villa and pool were fantastic and the way it is set up makes it great for families with children.The villa is set in a very peaceful area and not at all overlooked. It is also well located and the majority of places we visited were only a short drive away. Silves itself was also very pleasent and well worth a look around there are also a number of good restaurants. Susie was really helpful and very thoughtful. We had everything we needed for a great holiday many thanks we definately recomend this place.

Rural and tranquil

We stayed in Villa Paradyske at Easter time with two children aged 11 adn 9. The weather was very changeable but nevertheless we had a great time. Susie was extremely helpful - responding to all my many emails prior to arrival and advising us to bring clothes for every season! The villa was comfortable, clean and well equipped although chilly - which, if the weather had been hot, would have been very welcome. The pool was spotless and very inviting.

It is in a perfect location, peaceful and with beautiful views and yet only a few minutes from the elegant and historic Silves.

Susie helped us out with lots of suggestions of places to visit and things to do so we enjoyed some fabulous trips and great restaurants.

I would certainly recommend the villa for those looking for a more rural location but close to all that the Algarve has to offer.
Owner's Response: Hi Louise, Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review :) I fully take on board your comment about the villa being a bit chilly and have now purchased extra duvets and a couple of extra radiators for the winter months. We have had several guests stay during Winter over the past couple of years and it's not been a problem before, hence I was a little unprepared for the PARTICULARLY cold weather we had when you were here. The air con heating is working fine and it does warm the villa very nicely, but it takes a little time to warm up so the extra radiators will take the chill off until the air con heating kicks in. Apart from that, I'm glad everything else was to your satisfaction and that you and your family had an enjoyable holiday, despite the unseasonal bad weather. The Algarve is a gem of interesting places to explore which means there is plenty to do during periods of inclement weather. Luckily over here, rainy days usually give some periods of sunshine in between. I'm glad you found my "TO DO" list helpful and hope you will come again soon. We had an absolute ball and we loved the accommodation as it really does remind us of our mothers home in the caribbean (location etc).
