We stayed here for 10 nights in February and found the studio to be very well equiped. We did not use the d/w or oven but everything we used worked well. kitchen is well stocked with place settings for six. Everything in the unit was clean and well maintained, as were the resort grounds. Booking was straightforward with only a deposit required prior to arrival. Owner was responsive to all questions.

There are two beach chairs and even a small cooler bag. Iron and hairdryer included. The new tile floors are a real plus as we have read reviews of other units complaining about the carpets. The king size bed was very comfortable with good linens.
The unit is very close to the smaller, quieter of the two pools. This Pool was always clean and never even close to crowded. The patio faces a lawn and garden area with the main resort building behind. Maybe 60 seconds to the Kaanapali beach trail which goes south 3 or4 miles and a couple north. 90 seconds to the beach. Kaanapali beaches are fantastic and we could walk in and have great snokeling, including turtles, just 2 minutes walk north of the resort. Black rock is about 15 minutes walk south.

We shopped 5 minutes drive north at Times Market which we found to be better stocked and as good or better prices than Safeway. Only ate one breakfast at Castaway cafe which was average quality in a lovely setting.

All of our interactions with resort staff were positive. We had a small leak under the sink one day which was fixed promptly and courteously. This is of course a big advantage of being part of a resort, as were the concierge desk and the daily maid service. Fresh beach towels available anytime at the front desk.
Gas BBQs just a few seconds walk from the patio.

First morning "orientation" with coffee and sweets & fruit, is a sales seminar for activities, but useful for quick rundown on tours, activities etc. Everybody gets a little prize of some sort.
