One bedroom apartment superbly furnished and a great location and value too

Swiss-Comfort is one of the best bargains you will find. A one-bedroom apartment with fantastic amenities. The village of Leysin is a quiet yet popular resort all year round. The location of the apartment is conveniently located near the cog-train (120 meters). The unit is on the ground floor and sleeps a family of two adults and 2 children or 3 small children. Two couples can also share the unit without being overly crowded. Although smoking is not allowed in the apartment, there is a balcony that is just off the main living room. Restaurants, the COOP, the banks and the shops are within 8 minutes walking distance. It is convenience, comfort, and value all in one quaint location. The unit is fully furnished. Linens are provided with the let. There is a dishwasher and the kitchen is otherwise fully stocked with all the necessary utensils for preparing one's own home cooked meals. If you prefer to eat out three of the best Leysin restaurants are just a 3 - 5 minute walk away.

Ski/Snowboarding Season: Skiing in Leysin is a special treat. Leysin is the birthplace of the snowboard. As a result, snowboarders are welcome on the slopes. The ski pistes have snow-making capability.

There are over 120 kilometres of ski pistes. Lessons are available for the beginner, intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder.

Truly fantastic!

Renting a place via internet can be quite frustrating for both parts. But this place is truly described by the text and photos. The only thing missing (and this I can assure you) is the cozyness of the flat and the kindness of the owners, Jay and Nazuna. We felt as being in a friend's house such the warmness of the flat. Everything we needed was there, from the shower soap to the extra wood for the fireplace. Is is well located, close to supermarket, restaurant, bakery, creperie and so on. The village is a dream where strangers say bonjour and smile to each other. Jay and Nazuna, that live in the same building, were very willing to make our stay a perfect one (and so it was), provinding all the information necessary about the town and neighbour cities. They even lended some snow clothing for our small sons.
Trust me, they don't just run an ordinary business, they enjoy it.
For Jay and Nazuna: it was a pleasure to meet you. Our kids are enjoying a lot the Kumon classes in Brazil!

Relaxing and Enjoyable

We were met at the VILLAGE station by Jay and he drove us to the unit; a mere 150 metres away. The unit was well lit and tastefully decorated. To put it in a word, we were impressed as the apartment was just perfect for our honeymoon getaway. We had an enjoyable time and Jay and Nazuna were just steps away to help us plan our stay in Leysin. Nazuna cooked us a very delicious Japanese meal and the price was reasonable. We recommend you visit as you will not be disappointed.
