Ideally located 3 bedroom vintage house in quiet Vancouver Kerrisdale.

If you like quiet family living then this house is for you. The main floor includes living room with gas fireplace, small bedroom with a sofa-bed, toilet, and a brand new, impressive kitchen. Between the kitchen and the living room is a stylish dining room with sitting for 6 people and a view at the backyard garden with apple trees. If the weather is nice, you can take your dining to the outside deck adjacent to the dining room.

Wooden staircase will bring you to the second floor with two large bedrooms with queen beds and full wash room.

Free local phone calls and high speed internet are provided. Ample parking in the backyard or on the street in front of the house.

You will find this house charming as it approaches its centenary. The kitchen has recently been fully modernised and updated, including the electrical. The electrical system in the rest of the house has not yet been updated and may balk if overtaxed. If that happens then you just reset the breaker. You will be living in a vintage, warm home in a very upscale neighbourhood at about 30% discount of the market price.

Please note that NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED ANYWHERE IN THE HOUSE.

wonderful stay in the Vintage VC house!

My girlfriend and I rented this warm but funky vintage house in March as a base to travel around Vancouver and its surrounding areas. The house was clean, well appointed and had very spacious living space. We were lucky with the weather too, and were able to take advantage of the outdoor deck for dinner one night! From the efficient organisation of the owner to the location right near the hustle an bustle of Vancouver, the property really made our stay in BC memorable. We definitely want to go back!! Highly recommend.

Beautiful character house

My family stayed in this beautiful house for a week and we absolutely loved it! It has tons of space and its nicely decorated in a mostly traditional style. I especially loved the brand new, well-equipped kitchen, which adjoins an elegant formal dining room. The living room is spacious and very comfortable. The hardwood floors on the main floor are gorgeous. On a nice day you can have your dinner on the back deck which you access through french doors from the dining room. The quiet, leafy neighbourhood is another great feature. The only thing it lacks is a full second bathroom. I will definitely stay in this house again!

Lovely old house, full of character

We arrived very late on Thanksgiving evening and were welcomed into this warm, beautiful house. We had a short stay, but what we saw of the area was very pleasant and quiet. The house is exactly as the pictures describe. It was clean and well maintained. I would thoroughly recommend this property if you want to visit Vancouver, but be a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Wonderful experience!

Our party of 4 adults (& 1 toddler) had a wonderful stay in this house for our weekend trip to Vancouver for a wedding. It is wonderful value considering the space you get (with fully equipped newly renovated kitchen, linens & internet access). The neighbourhood (Kerrisdale) is great - very quaint and safe. The listing description was as described (clean and well-maintained). We received very good customer service (ie: good clear communication regarding payment and check-in, prompt refund of damage deposit). We were generously offered a late-check out when it was discovered that we had a late flight. Overall, a great experience. We wouldn't hesitate to return the next time we're in Vancouver.
