Wonderful apartment in Antibes

Traintravellers Hampshire, UK
Review Submitted: November 18, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
A quite lovely apartment with fantastic view of the Bay. We were anticipating it to be wonderful from the other reviews but it still exceeded our expectations. We hired bikes in the town (details from the Tourist Information office) and spent a great day cycling around Cap d'Antibes. Also found a super coastal walk in the same area, although not accessible with bikes. We'll do that another time! Great lunches at La Terrasse at the top of the town - it's the reason we've visited Antibes three times! We spent our 25 wedding anniversary in Monaco which is only a short train journey away. Nice and Cannes also worth a visit by train - the beauty of Antibes is that you dont need a car. Apartment is so convenient and beautifully appointed and Louise very welcoming and helpful. You wont be disappointed. We hope to be back.

If you want to go Antibes for a few weeks studio nr 42 is a perfect choise. It´s got everything. The view over the Mediterranean is marvellous and Louise made us feel very welcome. The only thing we missed was some french television canals but hopefully that can be arranged for our next holiday.

Top of the top!

Review Submitted: September 25, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
This must be Antibes best located studio. Fantastic view over the sea. Very stylish and modern renovated studio. The hostess was very serviceminded all the way from booking to departure. Equiped with everything you need.
Small things like a "pre-packed" beach basket with towels and fresh flowers on table make this visit extra ordinary.
We will for sure come back!

Everything we wished for!

We, two adults and two children, stayed in this modern studio for four days. Everything was really well managed. Louise was really friendly and helpful both before and after arrival. The studio was clean, quiet, modern and tastefully designed. Anything you might want you could find in the apartment; basic products in the pantry, fresh beach towels, washing powder and more. The location is perfect near the beach in Antibes. The apartment is best suited for two, but we managed well with two small children. I really recommend this apartment.

Fantastic Apartment

We stayed for two weeks in August 09, and had an amazing holiday. The apartment is excellent. Great location, very modern interior and the views from the balcony are second to none. It takes 5 minutes to walk in one direction to the old town, and five minutes in the other to the sandy beaches. The beach in Juan Les Pins is also only 5/10 minutes away by car.

We have stayed in other apartments along the Cote D'Azure and this is by far the best we have stayed in. It's extremely clean and finished to a high standard. Great bathroom and kitchin, flatscreen TV and wi fi.

The balcony is perfect for breakfast whilst watching the sun rise over the med, as well as relaxing in the evening with a bottle or two!

Would definitely recommend the apartment and can't wait to go back. Louise is really helpful. She was there to greet us and made sure the apartment is stocked with all the essentials.

Fabulous apartment and superb location

Review Submitted: August 25, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
My wife and I have stayed in this fabulous apartment on two occasions and will definetely be returning. The location is superb - a few minutes walk from the centre of Antibes coupled with the view from the terrace makes it an ideal base for a visit to this part of the South of France.

The amenities in the apartment are first class and the design of the sofa which then easily turns into a comfortable double bed is a treat.

The owner's attention to detail is evident throughout with towels and beach bags available to save on bringing over any unnecessary luggage.

We walked to Juan le Pins in just under 30 minutes although the beach in Antibes and viewed from the apartment is excellent if you want to stay more local.

We can't fault this apartment and will be loking forward to our next visit. Thoroughly recommended!

We spent one week in Antibes and this fantastic appartement. The pictures you see is a perfect description of the place. Amazing view from the terrace, well equipped kitchen. It was just perfect!! (Although the sofa-bed was noisy)

Louise was lovely and to be trusted!

Great Studio!

Review Submitted: June 30, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Thre studio exceeded our expectations. It is updated and has all of the little things covered. The shower, washing machine, and AC unit are nice touches. The studio is ideally situated, has a wonderful view, and surprisingly convenient parking. It is within close proximity to the beach, market and best restaurants. On top of that, Louise greeted us warmly upon our arrival and made it clear that she was around if we needed her. We will definitely come back!

perfect antibes spot!!

Review Submitted: April 20, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
This place is great and I miss it already! My husband and I were thrilled to find this homestay property. It is perfect for one person or for a couple. It is modern and completely remodeled with the most amazing view of antibes. The best thing is that it iis such a bargain considering what you would pay for a view like this in a hotel.

There are lots of great touches - a hair dryer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and my favorite feature which was the beautiful lighting fixture and all the ability to dim every overhead light in the bathroom, hallway, living room and kitchen!

the owners are very sweet and very helpful at offering tips and very communicative.

The experience was great but I will share with you the few things that aren't what you would probably get in a hotel. First, is that the bed is a pull out couch. However, the bedding was great and the mattress was comfortable enough for a pull out and it was very easy to set up and take down. Second, the shower is great but it does spray out a little as you open the door to get in it. Not a big deal, but just an FYI. Lastly, there is no parking spot provided which was not a problem because we were able to find free spots within a very short distance on the street. However, if you go during June, July or August it might be more difficult.

In summary - It's great and our few nights here were one of the highlights of our several week vacation.

Enjoy!

ideal long weekend getaway

Review Submitted: April 14, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
This was a last minute decision. The appartment is well located and I felt completely safe and comfortable as a female coming and going on my own. The apartment is ideally placed for visiting the surrounding area, for example the 1euro bus fare to Cannes, and there is plenty of walking with amazing views in the more immediate vicinity.
The provision of basics: food and toileteries was a thoughtful touch on arrival and in general I feel this is a wonderful discovery when you just want a quick get away from it all. I was impressed that I was not obliged to make a week long booking which meant that a beautiful, tastefully decorated appartment along the Riveria was affordable as well as luxurious.
