Bij aankomst in een mooie , rustige wijk, kwamen we bij het mooi gelegen huisje. Het was er schoon en leuk ingericht. Het zwembadje was groot genoeg om er even relaxed in te zwemmen.
Het huisje ligt mooi centraal in de omgeving om overal in een korte tijd te komen.Tussen een half uur tot 1 uur.
In de omgeving liggen verscheidene mooie stranden en centrums om te winkelen.Bijvoorbeeld Alicante, Altea en Benidorm.
In de omgeving zijn ook genoeg leuke dingen te doen, voor iedereen wat wils.
Zoals de waterval nabij Altea. Of de burcht in Alicante.
Overal zijn aan de boulevards mooie reastaurants waar je lekker kunt eten.
Het is een huisje om echt aan te raden, als je vakantie in die omgeving wilt nemen.

And what we got was far beyond our expectations
• Excellent accommodation (a nice and spacy house in green garden surroundings),
• Local restaurants and a mini supermarket within walking distances
• Good access to the Costa Blanca coast line, from Alicante to Benidorm, with the local tram-line.
• Good service from the company renting out the property and the local taxi/rent a car company

We stayed here for one week, after Easter, arriving at the 8th of April. The booking was easy and the personal e-mail contact with the renting out company was priceless to get all details in order. We arranged for a pick-up at the airport with the local taxi/rent a car company(additional cost, good value for the money) and a car from the same, ready on arrival Coveta Fuma.

The house was splendid with nice and well equipped sleeping/bath rooms, a spacy living room, a well equipped kitchen with anything you may need for cooking, a nice patio with swimming pool and a table ideal for outdoor meals.

It was up to us, we could either use the local facilities with small sheltered beaches, local cafes/ restaurants and a super market (after a few days you will be recognized and welcomed as regular) or drive to El Campello along the local streets. El Campello have it all, a spacy beach, a lot of restaurants/cafes and shops/supermarkets to comply with any requirement you may have. We used both and got the best of each.

We also found the tram-line very useful, a lot of nice places within a 40 minutes ride in each direction. We would specially like to mention the city of Villajoyosa with its colorful houses narrow streets, splendid beach and not at least the best of all, the tasting of Valor chocolate.

At last but not least the helping hand we received from the Costa Coveta staff when needed cannot be appreciated high enough.

arrived at the villa 12th sept 2011, first impression was that it was lovely, as the days went by things started to look less impressive, the standard of the villa is certainly not as pristine as it appears on the website, and is certainly not up the the advertised statement of "luxury villa", the decor is rather grubby and in need of a freshen up, various tiles missing from the swimming pool, one of the coping stone bollards on the pool patio area is dangerously loose, the washing machine was leaking, 3 attempts at repairing it, but when we left 22nd sept, it was still leaking. the microwave was filthy, the chopping boards we had to wash before we used them. as was the coffee machine, there was still the old filter in the top, god only knows how long it had been there, as it was covered in mould. The patio area was not clean, the shower in the first bedroom smelled of urine, and we had to bleach it ourselves. the sofa is so worn and uncomfortable, the beds in the 2nd room with the patio, are basic camp beds, and the mattresses were stained, and one of them was like sleeping on a bed of rocks.
The tv is an old fashioned grundig tv, they advertised satellite channels, mtv etc, there are NO english channels except bbc world news.

we invited the owner to the villa to show him, he never came, so i took pictures of the general dirty conditions, he was dismissive, and told me they were minor complaints and unfounded.!!

I admit that I made a mistake of emailing him after only 2 days to say the villa was great, next time I will wait until the end of a holiday to make final comments.
The area of Coveta Fuma however is wonderful, although very hilly, the locals are really nice, as were the neighbours and the people we met at the local restaurants in the square made up for the disappointment of the villa standards.

I would certainly NOT rent with this company again, a pity, because if they just put the effort into the upkeep of the place, it has the potential to be beautiful.

We (couple, 50) stayed at the villa in Coveta Fuma in July 2011 and can truly recommend it! The holiday villa is clean, well equipped, everything works and the pool is just that icing on the cake. Living and dining area are much bigger than in the pictures and the pool, though not huge, is just great. Bathrooms are well equipped and modern, bed rooms have ample cupboard space. Aircon really works! Kitchen is well equipped even down to microwave with grill, the balcony/terrace outside with the pool is just wonderful. From one end of the balcony you can see the Mediterranean and El Campello and there was nothing better for us than having that first cup of morning coffee looking at our “mare”.

The company managing the property provided very good service, punctual handing over of keys and no problems whatsoever. Used their internet to print boarding cards for return flights - thanks, Jean Paul!

Coveta Fuma is like a green oasis on this otherwise busy coast, it consists mostly of holiday villas, most of which weren´t occupied even during high season, we got the impression they were mostly owned by Spaniards who came out on the weekend occasionally. The area was thus very quiet, no traffic, no noise. The local beach is less than 1 minute´s walk from the villa and isn´t all that attractive, however, we would just go down for a swim (water was very clean) and go back to the house. There was a better beach in the next cove towards the centre of Coveta Fuma with two beach bars/restaurants. Coveta Fuma itself is quite hilly with steep roads, there is just one shop and a square with 6-7 restaurants and a couple of bars but it has a wonderful atmosphere and there are few holiday makers in the normal sense, just ex-pats (Dutch and British) as well as Spaniards who own houses there, who all seem to know each other. The square is a 10 min. walk from the house. We did hire a car and would recommend it both for shopping (Lidl and Carrefour Planet 12-15 mins. drive), trips to the beach (very good beach at El Campello just 10 mins. away) and sightseeing. There is loads to see within an hour´s drive or less: Alicante with its castle, Villajoyosa, El Campello, Canalobre cave up in the mountains, tourist hot spot Benidorm, Elche with palmtree oasis.

If you are wondering whether to book this house: Don´t hesitate, it gives you every possiby to have a wonderful holiday, quiet, slightly away from it all and yet with many things to do.

After a stressful time at work my husband and I decided to book a winter break holiday somewhere away from the rain and cold we have had in England.
We decided to book a villa and found this one on the internet. The booking process was very straight forward and the agent even arranged for a transfer taxi from the airport for a very reasonable price. The taxi driver Antonio also runs the local village shop which sold eveything we needed, including fresh baked bread daily and english tea bags which is a must in our household.
The villa was immaculate, decorated to a high standard with good quality furnishings throughout. It was very close to the beach and only a short walk to the local bars and resturants. Coveta Fuma is still a village and mainly private houses and fortunately no high rise apartment blocks which we have experienced before when staying in Spain.The bars and restaurants were really friendly and not expensive. We spent most evenings eating and drinking with local people which was great.
On two occassions we visited the agents office and again found the boys there to be really helpful, advising us on places to see and do in the local area. They also provide a free internet service which meant we could print off our return booking slips and stay in touch with our family by e-mail.
Obviously we had not hired a car and therefore used the coastal railservice which runs through the village, which we found to be excellent and cheap.
To summerise i can only say that we had a great holiday which exceeded our expectations and we will be certainly returning next Autumn

Easter09.It was clean,comfortable & to a good spec,close to the sea which you can hear & see slightly through the trees.There is a building unfinished just behind here which may cause noise when being finished.Negatives.having to make the beds at midnight when we arrived which they said after was expected but I dont like that one bit. Not getting the start electric reading then being told we had used more electric than the 50euro allowance(we couldnt verify as we didnt know where the meter was), Being told we had to wash & iron the bedding before we left, No house manual in the flat or tourist info(doesnt cost much & would have been helpful)due to the lack of tourist info in the village.Coveta Fuma- the beach is a no go due to the pile up of stinky seaweed.If you have mobility problems this is a no go as the roads are not even and its quite hilly & steps up to the villa.There is a small & intimate family orientated centre in CV but only one shop.The train stop is a 10 minute walk near the shop which goes to El Campello one way or to Venta Lanutza the other way so is only a small line.Alicante & Benidorm are on different lines which you can change to quite easily. The trains are easy to understand & very high tech with digital displays showing arrivals due.El Campello has a good beach & plenty of restaurants not many good shops though. Alicante is a busy City. We rented via Costa Coveta based inthe village who were helpful and Jean Paul was a Enlish Speaker.

Wir hatte nich annähernd ein so schönes sauberes und wirklichvollkommen ausgestattetes Haus erwartet. Mit Kleinkind ist es Luxus einen Pool direkt am Haus zu haben, oder in 2 Minuten am Meer zu sein. Die kleine Bucht am Meer war ruhig uns sauber. Alle Nachbarn, vorwiegend Engländer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Vermitungsoffice kann man nur loben.
