A very peaceful retreat

My wife, son (aged 15) and I stayed at Sergine and David's apartment for 2 weeks at the end of July. It really is as wonderful as described on the website and in other reviews.
Both bedrooms are very comfortable and the whole apartment is well equipped and extremely clean. We enjoyed numerous excellent meals, with food bought from the local markets, on the terrace with wonderful views of Lorgues and the mountains beyond.
Lorgues itself is a five minute drive from the apartment with easy parking which meant that we never felt the need to walk. The town has an excellent market on Tuesdays and we visited several times for an early morning coffee and croissant.
Trips to Ste Maxime took approximately 45 minutes and despite the time of year the roads down to the coast were not too busy. However, once you get to the coast in the height of summer then traffic becomes a crawl - that is when its not stopped altogether! This is when you follow Sergine's excellent suggestion of taking the train to Cannes (from Les Arc) and the boat to St Tropez (from Ste Maxime). Both trips are well recommended. There are also numerous local picturesque towns and villages, far too many to visit in a two week stay.
We also spent many days just lazing around the superb pool and with the temperature never dipping below 85f what could be better.
What really makes the stay here is Sergine and David's welcome. Warm, friendly but discrete they are always on hand to help with advice on trips, shopping and most importantly the local wine.
We all agreed that this was one of our best holidays. We very rarely return anywhere twice - this apartment will almost certainly be an exception.

Wir waren im Mai/Juni 2009 in dem Appartement. Es war einfach super. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sehr gut eingerichtet, der Blick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön. Eine sehr ruhige Lage. Der Pool ist toll und vor allem die Vermieter sind das Beste, was man sich wünschen kann. Mehr als gastfreundlich, besorgt, dass auch wirklich alles stimmt. Und trotzdem, wenn man nicht möchte, auch kein Familienanschluss. Also das ist eine hochgradig empfehlenswerte Adresse. Wir werden, wenn es sich irgendwie ermöglicht, in den nächsten Jahren regelmäßig dahinfahren.
Geeignet für 2-4 Personen (Familie). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Dorf und in den nächsten Orten (z.B. Salernes).
Wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable en famille avec nos deux enfants.
Tout est parfait : L'appartement est confortable, très bien équipé, impeccable, la décoration est très agréable. La piscine à débordement est splendide, la vue est imprenable.
Les propriétaires, Sergine et David, sont charmants et très attentionnés. Ils font tout pour le séjour soit apprécié.
Un lieu à recommander à ceux qui recherchent le calme, la tranquilité et l'intimité.
En ce qui nous concerne, nous avons décidé à l'unanimité : nous revenons l'année prochaine !!!!

The accomodaton, infinity pool, hosts and area all matched our highest expections and we would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday to everyone - indeed we have already done so to all the people we have spoken to about our wonderful holiday. The nearby village of Lorgues (walking distance) hosts many events in June and we were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy them. The weather was also excellent so what more could you ask for?

Having visited France on many occasions one always hopes to find the perfect holiday hideaway with all the facilities to make it extra special and the flat certainly fulfilled your description and exceeded all our expectations. Lorgues is a lovely town with a great market and even three weeks was not enough time for us to visit the many attractions within easy reach. Tourtour, the Abbaye de Thoronet and the Gorges du Verdon must be seen.
Your warm welcome set the tone for a wonderful relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly recommend it.

We have stayed in many Holiday Rentals properties, and yours ranks as one of the best!. We came here to relax, unwind, spoil ourselves, and have definitely succeeded. We enjoyed the privacy, the well equipped kitchen, the hammock for relaxing in the shade, the comfortable beds, the pool with its fantastic views, hopping from Port Grimaud to St. Tropez by boat on your recommendation. We had a wonderful week. The apartment, pool and garden you could not fault everything was as it was in the photographs. David and Sergine were very friendly and helpful and had gone into a lot of effort in their sightseeing brochure to make sure you made the most of your time in the Var region. All in all it was first class and would recommend it to anyone and would definitely go back ourselves

We had the most wonderful holiday staying in Lorgues at Sergine & David's lovely flat. We greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the flat and the extremely comfortable beds. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the pool, boules and hammock. Us adults particularly appreciated the air conditioning and wireless internet! Above all though, it was the hospitality and helpfulness that made our two weeks so exceptional. We would HIGHLY recommend this flat.
