I stayed in this flat for an extended visit of 5 weeks while working in Edinburgh. I was completely happy with my choice. The flat is cosy and compact and clean. It is indeed very quiet at all times so I was able to work without disturbance. But everything that Stockbridge has to offer are also literally on the doorstep. I really enjoyed exploring this corner of Edinburgh which I have not visited much before. The restaurants and delis and art shops, the Water of Leith and Museum of Modern Art, the national botanic gardens, and the excellent village market on Sundays. And the flat is also not far from the city centre. I enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk to town for work but the buses were also right outside when I needed them. Cliff and Catriona were excellent hosts and went out of their way to make me comfortable. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.

THe flat was wonderful! The location was great! Pubs and shops around every corner and an easy and beautiful walk to the Castle and the Royal Mile. The flat had everything we needed! Even Walkers and tea left to welome us!! So very happy!!!

We spent 4 days in this very nice flat. Everything was perfect (clean, well-maintained, facilities, etc.) We particularly appreciated : bus stop in front of the house, bars, restaurants and grocers near the house, The main target of our trip was the Military Tatoo. Great ! We also visited the Royal Yacht Britannia. It's worth ! Scottish people are very helpful and very friendly. Of course, we would recommend this property to our friends.

My family of four (2 adults + 2 children) spent 5 days in this lovely and cozy flat. We were greeted by a welcome note and had Scottish shortbread, milk and tea waiting for us- a nice personalized touch. The flat was clean and tidy and had the basic necessities for our stay. We did not have a problem with the hot water or internet connection- a plus- and had fresh linen and towels provided- another plus. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a grocery store less than a 5 minute walk away. The location is great and very convenient to the city center, a 20-30 minute walk or a £6.00 taxi ride. There is also an accessible bus stop in front of the apartments. The flat is also convenient to shops, pubs and restaurants- lots of activity outside the apartment but still quiet. The flat is great for a family and provided books, games and toys to keep the children entertained- my girls loved playing in the box (bunk) room. There was also a small but good movie selection and library to choose from for evening entertainment. We had a local tell us that Stockbridge was a nice place to stay- I completely agree! I would stay again and recommend to others! Thank you!

I have spent several weekend breaks in this superbly located flat in the heart of Edinburgh's Stockbridge area. Central Edinburgh (Princes Street, George Street, West End) are only ten to fifteen minutes walk away....with an excellent bus service right outside the flat to take you to all areas of the city. The flat itself is nicely furnished and decorated and has all the amenities required, while the surrounding area is buzzing with many different types of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars...so always plenty to do and see. Edinburgh's beautiful botanic gardens are a short walk away and well worth a visit at any time of year. Also close by is the Water of Leith walkway and a short walk will take you under the impressive Dean Bridge into the charming Dean Village. I would recommend this flat to anyone who wishes to see the heart of Edinburgh, either taking it easy in the local cafes and doing a spot of people watching or looking for something a bit more lively and energetic - the location is simply perfect.

i had a great two night stay in this wonderful flat which is in an excellent location, taxi from haymarket was around £5.00 and bus stop right outside which made it excellent for getting to and for getting around
i stayed with my friend and our two children and all had a wonderful time. property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay
area is great too with all the charity shops, express supermarket, restaurants and bars
i would definately stay again and would recommend to others

very Nice and clean flat in a very nice area of Edinburgh .
We really enjoyed our stay in your flat last month.

we are a family of four (two kids) and we spent a week in august this year, during the Fringe Festival, in this cozy apartment. although it is not very big, the flat has all the facilities required, is well located (30 min max walk to the city center, and a bus stop right in front), the neighbourhood is very nice, and the city of Edinburgh is wonderful.
