The apartment Giovanni we stayed in for 3 days is certainly fair value for money with some good and not so good experiences.
On the good side the vicinity to the heart of the city - Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria are litterally 3 minutes slow walk away, the building is quiet and near to shops and restaurants and the flat was clean.
Even better if the picture in the website was more recent (the walls are not anymore that white), not taken with a fish-eye and actually taken in that very apartment (which was not the case for Giovanni apartment). The furniture could be better and offer you a real choice between dining out or at home. Florence has great restaurants and trattorias but sometimes you are tired of the sightseeing and would like to enjoy a good Chianti at home and with that table and chairs this is a challenge.
Given the poor natural light (which could be an advantage in summer!) the flat should have better lamps to make the stay more enjoyable, but in reality we only used the flat to sleep and stayed out from 8 am to 11 pm.
If you have large and heavy luggage it will not be easy to climb the two floors in the narrow stairway, but this is a quite common situation in the old and charming city center, just be aware you may need help.
The owner is friendly and willing to help and support; and we had no problem during our stay.
