Relaxing two weeks on the Costa Smeralda

We spent two weeks here in June 2011. It was lovely. The garden was spacious enough for the kids to play in and never too hot as there was a constant ocean breeze. The roofed terrace with large table was the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch. Dinner was slightly more challenging due to mosquitos - not many, but pesky. Bedrooms and beds were fine, the bathrooms fully functional if a bit dark. The kitchen is small but equipped with what you need. Enough dishes, glasses and pots but a ew more utensils and knives would have been helpful. Spacious living area with interesting local stone fireplace. Large barbeque area outdoors. The location is convenient to many great beaches as well as to shopping in Olbia. A highlight for the kids was the excellent and very clean pool (we were the only ones who used it). Drawbacks included construction at the neighboring property which sometimes caused considerable noise as well as the relative proximity of a camping park that hosted nightly music shows, also resulting in noise. However, this did not affect us much and we had a wonderful holiday.
