- With a unique location in beautiful surroundings and with a magnificent view of Roskilde Fjord - just 45 minutes drive from the capital Copenhagen.
The house is a modern, functional and architectural gem built in 2005 - 83 m2 of living space with large bright rooms and large glass facades - all made from high quality materials.
The center of the house is an open plan kitchen / family area with high ceilings and skylights, with a functional quality, modern kitchen, a stylish dining area and open plan living area with TV and wood burning stove.
The house has 2 large bedrooms (4 beds) and 2 high loft in the living area (2 extra sleeping options). The bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi and a separate shower. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The house has a large gekert very undisturbed terrace facing south, and is surrounded by a large lawn garden with idyllic high beautiful birch trees, squirrels and pheasants are often seen. From the plot of Fördes a meadow where sheep graze peacefully extends. At night they gather to sleep under the trees near the house.
The large south-facing terrace is set up like the whole house decorated and well equipped with Weber grill, oil lamps and flower pots. Part of the terrace is covered, illuminated by ceiling lights, and sieved with shelter against 2 sides for cozy evenings in the moonlight over the fjord.
The house is fully furnished rented (for max 6 persons) - including bedding, linens, towels and firewood for the stove.
There is free Wi-Fi internet connection, television with also 2 German channels, DVD and CD player.
You can walk directly from the house along trails through the meadow and along the coast around the peninsula Tørslev chin as the house stands. You can dock or float anywhere on the beach, but the bay is very shallow. (A swim really gets the best out of Maarbæk beach 8 km.) The area is a bird sanctuary and you should take good account of the breeding birds, if you can find a walk with his dog. The large white swans swim anywhere.
By car or by bike you can visit the nearby Jaegerspris Castle and Castle Park, and in the great Nordskov you can see the remains of the largest and oldest oak trees. Situated 5 km south in Skuldelev you find an interesting private museum of puppets.
In the city Frederikssund 8 km from the cottage you will find all the major retail chains and shopping center and art museum, cinema, food stalls and restaurants. (We usually go to Blockbuster).
A little further north, we can recommend this lovely little ferry from Kulhuse to Sølager with a trip to Hundested and North Zealand beaches. Or a trip to the east, with at Frederiksborg Castle Hillerod. And of course a trip to Copenhagen with all the sights, shops and cultural experiences.
