We stayed four nights at this apartment and can thoroughly recommend it. There were five of us - three children (youngest 11) and there was enough room for us. It was clean, well maintained, secure, light and a pefect base to explore Paris. The bakery opposite was also a real treat. Metro stations within a short walk. I can imagine the canal is very picturesque in summer - it was pleasant enough in February when frozen! The owners provided excellent service and always kept us informed - they even sent us details of local car parks as they knew we were driving. The wifi was also a boon - quick and reliable.

We spent four fantastic days here for our second visit and would highly recommend it to anyone.
There's plenty of room in two bedrooms for a family of four, it's 10 minutes walk from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord or about six euros in a taxi, less to the nearest Metro at Magenta. It's also a five-minute walk to pick up the open-top bus tour at Gare de L'Est and took us about 40mins to get to Disneyland by RER.
Still lovely views over the Canal St Martin, the new decor is lovely, and plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance .. especially the three patisseries!

We had the most wonderful time staying in this apartment in April. It was exactly as described - the photos are so accurate that they are making me homesick for our Paris "home"! This is a fantastic neighbourhood with plenty of good restaurants, a great bar below and delicious pastries across the street. The view out the window was divine, I loved observing Parisien life out of it... The beds were comfortable, all instructions were in English and French for the TV/washing machine etc. The wifi was reliable and fast. We were allowed to leave our bags even though we were early on arrival day. Thank you for an experience we will never forget!

We're back in Santander (Spain), I want to congratulate the apartment we rented in Paris, was really comfortable, clean and precise with the description that appears in their advertising. No doubt that any other trip we do (we usually do 2 or 3 trips a year) will have you. We stayed at this apartment for four days with a party of four people.
The apartment was exactly as described, clean, close to central, fast internet, good furniture and the ability to check in at anytime was a plus point. There is a pastry shop just on the opposite side of the street for buying breakfast in the morning and the owner was very helpful and friendly. There is a Disabled parking bay just on the street outside the apartment, anyone who has a european disabled parking badge can park free of charge.

We likes our stay in this flat very much. We had seen the street and even the frontdoor in internet before hand, and it was so easy to find there. The apartement was like its had been described. Situating in corner och streen, the view was open, I found it interesting to just sit by the frech window and whatch people. For a guest coming from Sweden or Finland: there are ordinary sheets, not huge bagformed like we have, but there are so big that it is ok anyway.

There was nothing we would have changed or missed; the flat was clean, functional och even cosy. And of course the bakery just oposite was a threat!

Excellent 2 bedroom apartment very close to gare du nord for eurostar and metro lines. The location was great with local shops and bars/restaurants close by. Also nice to walk along the canal to Republique. The apartment was fairly small - fine for 4 adults but 6 people would be a bit of a squeeze particularly with the small kitchen and bathroom. It had all the facilities we needed.

This is definitely a great way to live like the Parisians do.

We stayed at this property in early September. It's very well situated (close to Canal St. Martin) and a 5 to 10 minutes walk to Metro stop Chateau Landon (7), Gare de l'Est (Metro 4, 7, 5), Gare Du Nord (Eurostar) and Magenta (RER E). We found the area safe and well lit for walking very late after sightseeing as there are many people about with the many cafes and restaurants in the area.

The apartment is as it's described...clean, spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. This is a great location for everyone; the budget conscious tourist wanting to experience Parisian life or stay away from the very expensive "touristy" areas. Well suited for two or three people comfortably. Small issue with the TV & DVD players....if you plan on using them have owners demo both (DVD player & TV stations) if possible. Also, the dishwasher and washing machine (a very nice perk) was in French (English translation would be ideal for English speaking guests).

One of the big selling points, in our opinion, is the patisserie right across the street (for fresh baguettes every morning..YUM!). Shopping for food and snacks was no problem as there are a couple of supermarkets and mini-markets within 5 minutes walk.

All in all, we had a great time. The owners are VERY nice and available via phone if needed.
